<DIV>I'm enjoying this Adventure Pack. it works in the same way as Lost Dungeons of Norrath from EQlive. The mobs don't respawn, the chests and breakable items can be trapped..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Only there's no timer to complete these things, and there are solo instance versions. (Unearthed/Aquisition..)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Two thumbs up, Sony.</DIV>

I must agree that they did a fatastci job of creating this content. Brings back alot of that magic feeling of playing online. ++ <div></div>

<DIV>My only gripe is this:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They never said that the breakable objects: The coffins and Vases inside, would be full of Traps like the chests from LDON were. They last nearly half an hour and are very annoying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They could have pointed out that little danger/nuisance in the advertising.</DIV>

<P>OMG! How did you guys even play in there! The lag was horrendous, and not just video lag...server lag. Like 4 or 5 seconds from press button to spell actually starting to cast. Bleh, awful!!</P> <P> </P>
<DIV>we suffered from extreme server lag has well.....nothing on par with what you had, but 2-4 seconds worth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I enjoyed the zone immensly. We even had a Mastery spell drop. I was quite surprised.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh, and the spell, Cure Arcane, gets rid of those nasty spell traps. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Xec</DIV>

Edit: I agree with those about the lag though. I had to stop playing in the adventure pack. Simply unbearable with the lag. </span><div></div><p>Message Edited by aeiouy on <span class=date_text>03-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:42 PM</span>

Yeah I know, but the vases can't be disarmed. they're random like that.

Where was the solo content? I tried to get my faction up to buy tradeskill recipe books but the only quest I could get lead me into an instance with a lot of group mobs. <div></div>
They could have pointed out that little danger/nuisance in the advertising.----ohh come on this is an adventure game, the fun comes from finding out these things for yourself...why spoil the suprise and enjoyment by being told these things in advance.

<P>Hope the lag is fixed today.</P> <P>I gave up in there after 2 hours on moving at a snails pace. Finally got to a named, and with a 3-6 second delay...............let's just say, glad for no mob respawn.........</P>

hehe, I have had the same experience... Named one was like: lag, lag, lag, 1,200 dmg, lag, lag, lag, lag, 680 dmg, dead, happy run back without respawns <span><blockquote><hr>Bodaciuos wrote:<p>Hope the lag is fixed today.</p> <p>I gave up in there after 2 hours on moving at a snails pace. Oh you mean the so-called solo instances with group mobs (which funnily enough I can't solo) inside them. These are the same solo instances for which I have no faction increasing quests. <div></div>

The damage went through walls, so no way to hide from the AE. Needless to say, my fully buffed 1800-or-so hp as a Conjuror didn't last long against that, even with runing myself after every strike and group wards (while the mystic was still up, at least). We finished that fight with just our paladin up and running, I lasted until the mob was at 2%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd like to see some strategy toward avoiding that AE. I tried several different positions to hide from it, but each time, I couldn't cast on him, and the AE could still hit me. Let me use some strike-and-fade tactics here... hehe</DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text>EDIT: This was a level 36 mob, btw... not exactly the pinnacle of achievement...</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Jgok on <span class=date_text>03-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:26 PM</span>

His AE is not very big, you can stand across the pit and avoid it. If you time it right you can run in and nuke then run out easily. Pretty much think of it as a Tallon Zek fight in POP. Seems his AE was directed alot like that.

I didn't try standing that far out, I guess I was used to being able to hide behind walls to avoid an AE like way back in Halls of Testing <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
