Why is there a Give Coin button when there could just be the same slots you could use to interact with in your inventory and at the bank? Couldn't there just be a __p __g __s __c slot option, you shift-click from your inventory and put them in these slots rather than the dual process of a money calculator? Also, can there be an element implemented where you can save old e-mails in a parsable text file on the users end rather than keeping it all server side? I mean, if you're going to delete it anyway, why not write a read/write/erase method for old messages on the player's end? Perhaps have the option of moving mail to a Saved or Archived box that will be saved to the textfile on your computer and read through the system? On the inbox listing, can we get rid of the large icons and shrink it down a bit more in height by using a smaller icon that represents that there is an item attached to the e-mail? Is it really important to know the icon of the item you have attached when a person is going to be 99.999999~% likely to open up the mail item and get the attachment anyway? Will the option for people to send e-mails to guild groups or possibly all persons on their friends lists ever be possible?

Even more important: Will there be a mechanism for me to send 1 million unsolicited mail messages out to random players every day with subjects like "hot coeds 4 u" and "75% off p3n15 enlargemant 100 PERCINT GARINTEED doctor recommended!" and "DISCOUNT HERBAL [Removed for Content] DETAILS INSIDE"? Oh yeah, and I want to change my character name to random alphanumeric gibberish.

I believe the in-game mail system on test is version 1.0 to get it up and running. I've heard through the grapevine they are already thinking of enhancements to the mail system.

SWG did have a great mail system. You could also e-mail broadcast ALL or a select group of people on your friends list. Great for crafters with regular customers to let them all know at once when an item is back in stock.

As for guilds, we can use it to send welcome letters to new members to help them get acclimated to the guild. At this time, you can easily copy and paste from notepad into EQ2 so that will help with form letters.
