<DIV>I think you should all stop whining..... I say great job for the devs this patch should help the game immeasurably. Wait until you check, it is most likely that you can enhance attuned goods. Think about it, why couldn't you? The weapon is just attuned for your use, its actual procs and stats are not locked. Please just congradulate the devs on a job well done, there probably going to have some sleepless nights soon and they dont need any more flak from us about stuff we aren't even sure about.</DIV>

the only problem is, that all the improvements debend on only one crafting class. doomed anyone who is not in a guild with a high level alchemist. aside from that, i applaud on the changes comming.

Doomed?? good grief you act like Alchemists are going to hold you all captive till someone pays ransom for your enchantments. Before you run off and type you "I am quiting and going to play WoW" post I do suggest you atleast "try" and work with the new system. No one is preventing you from harvesting the new items and sucking some profit up for yourself either.

Your advice of making money selling the rares is not solution, that would only rise the prices more. or i could start an alchemyst too like many people did with provisioners. no thanks.

So don't give me any crap about Alchemists being the reason things cost so much. Attunable items have driven the market to where it is at now, and the additional price added on by enchantments will be a drop in a bucket in comparison to that lovely little addition by SoE. Secondly, the price we decide on for these will be solely dictated by how rare the raw components are and how many steps (personal time spent) it takes to make one. Both of which are completely out of Alchemists control. So it's up to SoE to decide how much of an impact these are on the economy. The harder these are to come by the higher the price, and that has nothing to do with how greedy or not Alchemists are.

<P> you admit yourself that rise of prices on items was not caused by the change to alchemists but because of atttuning which made things more rare. price of solutions made originaly by alchemists now plays no role because every crafter can make their own and can craft more effectively because they dont need to wait for alchemist and they do not pay the profit margin alchemists used to put on their products. so we can assume that if attuning was not implemented, the prices would actualy drop.</P> <P>i can see the problem with alchemists, i read about it often, but lack of finished products or their usefullnes can not be solved by giving alchemists monopoly for an interim used by other crafting professions. that is not consistant. why would soe allow crafters to be independent and then put them again at mercy of alchemists? And the are at their mercy because there wont be any other way to get the rares into usable form.  </P>

They are not interim items. You will still be able to craft as you can right now. They are enchantments placed onto the item after it is made by the appropriate crafter. You can still make and sell non-enchanted equipment and infact I would suggest you do so and simply charge a service fee for adding on enchantments any adventurer wants. You can chose to pre-enchant gear as you see fit, but in all reality you'll still have to deal with players who will want a specific effect, and they can buy them off Alchemists, or heck even you if you buy in advance from an alchemist you know (get a lil profit off the top too).

<P>First I have to agree with the original poster that this is some very nice work from the devs =)  Even if your against the alchemists making something other crafters will want to craft you gotta like the idea of making your own crafted gear better.</P> <P> </P> <P>"cond things second: making use of enchantements dependable on only one profession will definitely tise the prices for everyone because alchemists will have monopoly and results of monopoly are well known."</P> <P>Dude, a monopoly is when there's no competition in the enviroment, Alchemists could only monopolize if we made a [Removed for Content] union which isn't gonna happen on a game.  Alchemists will compete with each other, especially now that the games a little older and you can / all Alchemist to find someone to bargain with.  Hell if your on Innothule and u see me (Darthak) after this patch comes out we can talk price, I believe capitalism is suppose to be a win win where both sides believe they've gotten from a bargain is worth more than what they put in.  Also, like the other guy said, if these are rare the case may be more of me making the enchantment for an adventurer who wants one, then he goes to u for the final combine in which case I don't make a dime (err 10cp) from another crafter.  I don't think alchemists are going to become especially rich after this patch, heck i never got rich from alchemy before.</P>
