<DIV>Just thought I would post here to say that there are players out there that notice and appreciate the effort and more importantly the results that are coming out of the SOE teams.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just a disclaimer. I am no SOE fanboi, I have even at one point thought about quitting EQ2 because of the rapid pace of change effecting my gameplay. I thought things over and decided to give the game another chance and try to adapt - I am glad that I did. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I must admit that the staff from the EQ2 branch of SOE are fast gaining my respect and my appreciation.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <UL> <LI>Yes there are lots of bugs, yet I see lots of bugs being fixed. Important bugs get fixed very quickly.</LI> <LI>People complain about this game being in Beta - this game will always be in Beta - it is a work in progress.</LI> <LI>Yes there are aspects of the game that have been broken from day 1 and are still not fixed. Unfortunately things have to get prioritised and for one reason or another there are some things that are just not important enough to warrant being fixed before others. This is extremely frustrating for the people who are effected by this but sooner or later they will get addressed. In practice things get fixed first that impact the greatest number of players, or that have the potential to destabilize gameplay.</LI> <LI>Thank goodness for WOW.  EQ2 today is a better game today because of the competition from WOW. Full credit to SOE for their rapid response and open mind as a consequence of the competition. Clearly SOE are proud of their product, but not too proud to learn a lesson or two from WOW :smileywink:</LI> <LI>You can't please all the people all the time. </LI> <LI>People continually complain about quality control and releasing bugged software. Anyone that knows anything about the extremely complex nature of large scale software projects such as EQ2 knows you CANNOT release new software without bugs - sometimes quite a few. If you aren't happy with the testing - roll a char on test and involve yourself in the testing process rather than complaining from your armchair.</LI></UL> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am sure I will contribute my share of complaints/suggestions in the future but if the EQ2 team goes forward as they have been the last while, I am confident that this game that is carrying the expectations of so many people will not disapoint and in fact has every chance of succeeding tremendously.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

you see a lot of bugs that get fix that were broke because they tried to fix something else.read some patch notesFixed bard and crusader power pools so they ONCE AGAIN are base of agi/strwell did one of the programmers mistakenly change something let it go live..catch it..then have to re-fix?Heritage sell back price too high? according to who? so the ppl that sold it...got the money taken away and item replace? is this to save the economy down? Then why make adventure packs before you fix bugs...it's just going to snowball

<DIV>Well the heritage quests were selling fora ridiculous amount.  Not all but the Stein of Moggok was selling for 2200 plat or something stupid like that.  With that kind of inflation lvl20 adepts would cost a plat.  But with that much money I'd be able to buy the expensive arrows I need to be considered DPS.</DIV>
