<DIV>      Its not fair that a provisioner can sell almost all of his food for 23 silver possibly more.Yet when it comes to selling alchemy stuff ive yet to sell them over 2 silver per potion. Its not easy making them either.Lot of players dont no how to make pattern glasses.Ive got to get jewlar friends to make them.An than its hard when there not online.I no how to make pattern glass its just a lot of people think its rare loam, when its not.</DIV> <DIV>     Devs can you look into this please.Ive yet to make a decent profit on alchemy.A lot of my guild mates are in the same boat.Yet when a player makes food they sell like hot cakes.</DIV>

<DIV>Well to start i dont like the begining of OP message that sounds (but maybe its just me) like a whine about provisionner.</DIV> <DIV>However i do agree with him on the whole.</DIV> <DIV>SOE made a good job (imho) in making provisionners a <STRIKE>needed</STRIKE> wanted class. We still have the opportunity to buy sub par food and drinks out of NPC but, if we want the best out there, we have to turn to provisionners.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now my biggest grip is: Why only do so with provisionners?</DIV> <DIV>Lets take armorers/weaponsmithes/tailors/jewelers/woodworkers. SOE made it so that all items became attunable with the purpose (please correct me if im wrong) of making it easier for them to sell to PC. Good idea. But now, just a short time later they increased and, more importantly, implemented more diversity in loots. Now why dont put that diversity in the crafters hand? I mean, as a scout, what do i care about an helm piece that has wis and int? Id like to have a head piece that have Agi and sta/str on it. This kind of items (well maybe not that particular exemple) now drops off mobs. Thats a low blow to crafters imho. Doing the reverse would have put those crafting classes on par with provisionners. Not a "must have" but an optional boost to the adventurers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now lets take Alchys, Sage and Jeweler. SOE killed what wasnt meant to become the main alchy market but effectively became so by making WORTs available to all. Ok why not. In the meantime they told us that our markets were final products. Fine. So that make spells/abilities, jewelry and potion/poisons(Wont talk about jewelry here see above). Ok sure. However, given the drop rate of adepts1 of all tiers that market is a struggle to survive. Sure some adept dont drop but they are few of them. I wont even go on poisons and potions (well not sure but maybe latest patch made it better).</DIV> <DIV>On the other hand, Adept1 are not really much better than AppIV of the same spells but, players want them over AppIV because they still give a slight boost and make them feel better (heck im doing the same :p). The diff between AppIV and adept1 is becoming common knowledge. Im kinda surprised that we dont see more "Make CA/spells improvments real improvments" topics but they are begining to show more often of late. I fear that SOE answer will be just that. Making adept1 really better than AppIV thus effectively killing whats left of this market. Now why dont you move AppIV to loot table make Adept (both 1 and 3) crafting only and make it somewhat worth more to improve. That will put those 3 classes on par with Provisionners.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Last, the carpenters. Why do this crafters have to "compete" with NPC sold furnitures. Here im mostly talking about cosmetics. I know their furnitures have a status decrease factor but since its not shown on the examine window, as far as most potential buyers are concerned, it doesnt exist. 2 points: Make it so that their furnitures really have a unique feel/look and make it obvious on examine window the reducing in status cost. Ive always seen carpenter as a more RP choice or long term choice in crafting than any other so i dont have any idea as how to put them on par with the provisionners (yes i know always refering to them but they are mostly the reference class in other PC need term) or even if its possible so feel free to add your thoughts on this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To sum it up, and i think most of the crafting community will agree with me on this (prolly not all), what we crafters ask for is to be wanted, not needed, but wanted. All the above is only my view on possible solutions on what i really see as a big problem.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Eris on <span class=date_text>03-09-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:38 AM</span>
