<DIV>Well after about 7 years in the biz.. you still have [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]ING INVIS MOBS! The most annoying thing in the world. Not like they are new spots.. same ones since launch. BB, CT,LS, SH. You name a zone.. they got invis mobs to mess with ya. SO stop all this mentoring crap.. and get back to basic's. Fix the super jump, and invis mobs. Then you can dabble in other ways to wreck this game.</DIV><p>Message Edited by kjames on <span class=date_text>03-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:17 AM</span>

<DIV>When you criticize someone for their incompetence, it's a good idea to spell and punctuate correctly.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I mean, I agree with you.  Invisible mobs suck, but good lord reading your post is nearly as annoying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And what the hell is the "super jump?"</DIV><p>Message Edited by Omnikain on <span class=date_text>03-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:16 AM</span>

<DIV>Leave it to a bunch of newbs to worry about spelling instead of the fact we have been paying for 5 months, And we are still have bugs that should have been cleaned up long ago in beta. Ever get 7% xp loss in LS because of invis spiders? Try grinding out 14% xp to make up for it. You loose 2 hours of grinding because they dont have their act together.</DIV>

<DIV>No, I haven't gotten 7% experience loss due to invis mobs.  I'm sorry you have.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Again, what the hell is the super jump?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for the newb comment too.  I guess my 5 years in EQ1 and 4 months of EQ2 doesn't quite throw me over that newb barrier yet <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here's some advice.  Quit constantly staring at your experience bar.  You tend to not notice insignificant debt.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Like I said, i agree with you.  Invisible mobs suck.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And what the hell is the super jump?</DIV><p>Message Edited by Omnikain on <span class=date_text>03-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:31 AM</span>

<DIV>I have to sort of agree with OP. Seems we have a few English major-wanna be's hanging out in the forums because they'd be shot hanging out anywhere else with their Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. How about rating for content rather than grammar? If you want to read for grammar i seriously suggest some other media! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Invis mobs are just dumb. They happen everywhere. It would be nice to fix some very basic stuff before they continue putting in more content. I like content... but i hate invis mobs more. </DIV>

<DIV>I also have noticed a new exploit, some have a sort of turbo boost run where they can run nearly all of TS in about 20 seconds.... i've /petitioned this with names of violater that i caught red handed... Hope they figure this one out, cause unlike super jump, this one can ruin the game... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And on to invis mobs, there are some new ones that sprouted after a patch a week or so ago... all the gnoll type or whatever they are in permafrost and everfrost are now invisible, and no, they aren't supposed to be or they would appear after attacking or you'd be able to see when using see invis... I hope this patch today fixes that, i need to talk to the little giant heh</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lodoz</DIV>

<DIV>I think what the OP is talking about is a problem that ALL MOBS have in dungeons. Some dungeons are worse than others. It's an issue with mobs falling through the walls or being stuck in a wall somewhere. I'm not sure but it may have something to do with errors in their terrain clipping system.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just last night i was in an instanced dungeon with my group and we all had to RELOG because some [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] mob had fallen through the floor or whatever and had become invis. So we could not kill it, and /yell did not work to break the encounter. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I get invis mobs all the time in most dungeons.. most of the time you can target and kill them.. sometimes you can't. Either way, it is a real HUGE problem.. not a trivial one.</DIV>

<DIV>super jump=lagging while jumping you can probably jump 2x higher.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>run expoit= if u jump at a certain point while in the air going down hill you can haul [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot], sometimes works on level ground i think.</DIV>

Only those with no skill are pwnd by invis mobs. i've killed hundreds of invis mob encounters in Perma or EF. Just have a competent tank and know the bug exists. Dying more than once to this bug... which should be fixed I might add... highlights a fundamental lack of attention to the game or a basic lack of skill to begin with.

<DIV>See what I mean! You got guys that talk about being masters of deal with bugs!. They have been doing this junk for 7 years, we should not have to be masters of invis mobs, thats just sad. I dont die all the time to a invis mobs, but most mobs can 1 or 2 hit me.. Im a warlock.. sometimes the healer is focused on the tank and the xp grind got to him.. he dont see my life go grey.</DIV>

<DIV>How could that have been worth 2 stars? help me out guys gimme 5 to compensate for the n00b that gave me 2 lol, actually i could care less, just wish people would state why they did that..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And I highly doubt that is how this run exploit works... if I were going to give it a % faster then sprint, i'd say 20 x faster.. and its not a short distance, the case I witnessed started at griffons in TS, he went to look for stiletto and coldtooth after he /pondered and got nothing and wanted to go check for some reason...  He was gone about 20 seconds... I had my main at the craters and my alt at the griffons, so I witnessed the whole thing</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lodoz</DIV><p>Message Edited by Zerofault on <span class=date_text>03-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:13 AM</span>

It's easy. Some people love exploitable bugs because to them it's like a "cheat code" for EQ2 and they think that's awesome. Aren't all games better when you can get everything with no effort?Anyway, seriously, if you make a post even mentioning an exploit you'll get low stars. I'll get low stars for replying to you too. This is because some of the people posting here (again, some) are greedy, selfish and immature and only think about how something affects them personally.BTW, to further cement my inevitable flood of low star ratings for this post (like it matters): One way that super speed can be achieved is sprinting, then evacing if you have evac. Sprint sticks on you and you can use it without draining power.

<DIV>Super jump: while toggling from eq to windows hit space bar...latency will give you a super jump (more than 2x).  Really not game breaking...fun though to get at bugged harvest nodes (allowing a work around for that piece of ore stuck 3 miles up in a tree).</DIV>
