Say im 33. I mentor someone 24ish or lower even. Will I get decent experience for my level? Will this completely change the need to get a group? (Lower level content is a lot easier to conquer, duoing and soloing are very useful experience gain methods)Can I stop making groups in runnyeye and mentor a level 20 and grab a few other friends, and rip through and get 1%-2% per group encounter?Go back to 33 and have made significant progress? How does it work?

No.You will get experience, and if you have fun you will see progress. The best way to get experience for its sake is to group with like leveled people and fight level appropriate encounters. I am level 33 on Test. I have mentored as low as 17. I do not get fabulous xp. But I do get it. The primary motivation for me to mentor is not a fancy new looking for a group tool, it is to group with my friends, or in this case my daughter. I help them catch up to me.A mentor is giving more to her pupil than she is recieving.~Eva

<DIV>Are you guys finding it difficult to set aside special hot key combinations for lower level mentoring?  I was under the assumption higher level spells would not work when mentoring a player several levels below your current level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If it doesn't already, it would be nice if they just "gray" out skills that are not usable during mentoring sessions.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Either way, I'm very pleased with the potential to help several friends below my level catch-up.  I would have been willing to earn 0 XP to make this happen, but hearing even reduced XP is still incoming at this stage is impressive.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV> <DIV>Kalen</DIV>

Experience has again been increased (especially over level 30), and new types of treasure are available. Many players on Test have reported being extremely satisfied that they can now accumulate worthwhile loot and spell upgrades without requiring a full group to obtain them. We're also in the continuing process of adding solo quest paths that guide you through all levels so that solo and small-group players feel they have direction and goals. Plus, there is a new solo adventure area available called the Valley of the Rogue Magi, located in Commonlands. Expect to see more such instances in the future.</SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=pageheader>================================================== =========================</SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=pageheader></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=pageheader>Since Mentoring is currently on Test, I will venture to guess this answers the question of "When"... We find out when patches go to test or live the same time as anyone else.
