<DIV>When the servers went down for 3 days I had just purchased 2 copies of the collectors edition of EQ2. I then /claimed my rewards and went on my merry way. One hour later servers crashed and we all experienced a 3 day down time and a server roll back. When servers came up i had lost my items from the /claim and further more could not /claim my items again. As customer service was inudated with petitions i received a standard response that i would not be reimbursed. Of course i over reacted and protested here on the forums. TSR - Robert read my post and sent a PM to ask me to petition again and follow-up with the ticket. In the mean time feeling cheated i returned the 2 copies of the collectors edition for 2 new copies and /claimed my rewards again. Couple days went by and a GM FIRST returned my items then apologized for the confusion. I explained to him that i already returned the other copies and that he was double rewarding me. He noted this and told me to enjoy my extra reward, i almost fell over. The next day i had returned to the forums to read my post where i had ranted about the poor customer service and loss of rewards. I found that TSR - Robert had responded and followed up with me a second time via PM, which i told him that i had been helped and was very happy with how my entire situation was handled. I have since had 2 more petitions that have been handled with equal care and courtesy as the first.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/content.vm?page=FreeContent" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/content.vm?page=FreeContent</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I could not agree more with how EQ2 has been handling issues and fixes. If anyone here ever thinks EQ2 sucks, that Devs/Customer Support do not care or that overall you just had a bad taste in your mouth about how EQ2 is ran. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just visit the WOW forums and take a look at how bad it is over there. The issues at hand are minor to be sure and everyday i read these forums i can see great progress being made to make the game the best it can be.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No i am not a fanboi, just a appreciative player. Thanks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nodlo Stealthfoot - Splitpaw</DIV>

<DIV>Great post.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The problem I see is people do not understand how complicated it is to create a dynamic roleplaying game. They become overcritical on one issue rather than looking at the game as a whole. I am still amazed at all the detail that was put into this game. Of course, there are many things I would have done better, my opinion, but I am always looking for alternate ways of having fun in the game. I continue to look for what SOE has in store for us.</DIV>
