Can SOE try to fix things before they Nerf them to hell...Paid almost 10pp for a flipp'n horse that melts in water and then I have to unequip whistle, reequip and recall the horse.. if it works. Did the "Journey is half the fun" in Nek Forest and the guys with SOW and speed buffs finished the race 2 minutes before a horse bred for speed. What a joke!!! Edit: Fine you had to nerf the speed because your servers couldn't handle it... but how about all the people running speed buffs? Nothing else, keep the horses from going "crash" when we go in water.. just dissappear then reappear when we come out of the water.<p>Message Edited by Lathropp on <span class=date_text>03-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:40 AM</span>

<DIV>If they didn't nerf things to hell, they wouldn't be SOE, now would they. Think before you post =P</DIV>

I agree it would be nice to see horses get SOME kind of perk other than a mediocore speed buff and outdated horse graphic for the price. Time it takes to save 10 plat really isnt worth it for the speed buff, Sow is much better + buffs. I dont think they need to increase the speed that'l make it little risk where its already too unrisky. They do cost a boatlaod it'd be nice to see something added.<p>Message Edited by pillbub on <span class=date_text>03-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:50 AM</span>

Somehow peoples classes getting nerfed seems alot more important then your little horsey not running at the speed of light.

<DIV>I always thought horses should come witth 2 to 4 100% weight reduction 4 slot backpacks built in for extra storage, then they would have more utility then just speed and looks. I think Siegl is doing something similiar to that with their horses for Vanguard.</DIV>

But then again, UO also had armor and clothing tinting and dyes, home ownership and placement, taming of wild animals as pets, naming of pets, a robust harvesting and crafting system, potions that people actually wanted and used, boat ownership, specially-designed homes for each type of crafter, moongate travel system... sheeesh, come to think of it, if UO would update their graphics engine, they'd have a winner. =P

Ummm...and they need to make alchemists worth playing again before they worry about your horse.

They do need to fix the horses it seems that that players riding horses can ride a griffin while on the horse??? But that players you are screaming about run buffs and wanting nerfed have to remove regular buffs before riding the girffins. Let them try to "Fix" one thing at a time and by fix I don't mean screaming that they need to take an ability AWAY from another player. Cause I hear you whine about the wistle but don't hear you saying anything about "Exploiting" the Horse/Griffin bug (I used Exploiting for lack ofa better word as you are using a bug to your advantage) and for christs sake you play on test it is YOUR responsability to inform them of bugs not complain about other players being able to outrun your horse. If you wanted to run fast play a Shaman or Druid. As for the Disappearing horse in water yes that is a bug and /bug it like a good tester. But leave out the whining about other players and thier UNSCALEABLE SoW spell.

<DIV>Extremely lame posting "they need to fix my (blank) before they worry about your stupid (blank)." Sorry you are too poor to afford a horse, doesn't mean people who bought them can't ask for them to get fixed. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Myrid</DIV>

<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Regardless of what's wrong with what class, corrections should be on fixing flaws in conjuntion with balancing.  They nerfed the speed of the horse.. I can live with that (although faster is better).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My concer is not speed but the problem with the horse vanishing in water which then requires unequip whistle, re-equip (repeat until it works) and then re-summon the horse on the other side of a body of water.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also.. I am a Lvl 47 Alchemist so I do know the challenges about tradeskills.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My error.. I posted this in the wrong forumn.   this was not meant to be a test server post.</DIV>

<DIV>If you took Ultima Online's gameplay, EQ2's graphics, and Guild Wars' lack of subscription fees, and had it published by Bethesda, you would have the best game ever <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
