I made an alchemist and leveled him to 38 and now he is completely useless, doesn't sell diddly-squat even with the best prices around. And I have a carpenter and all his recipes look the same, woohoo. Or the furniture can be bought at an NPC for a fraction of the cost.Oh and my Armorer never sells anything either even with fair prices. Thanks SoE, I think it may be time for you to get off your [FAAR-NERFED!] now and fix somethings.<p>Message Edited by Odissius on <span class=date_text>02-27-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:07 AM</span>

<DIV>make 1 of each items and advertise in trader channel, being 45 assassin, i never see med armor for sale, least not on my server, mostly b/c crafters are too lazy to make patterns. I am sure that making armors from rares would be a great market if someone would prove to be trustworthy.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Neokles on <span class=date_text>02-27-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:20 AM</span>

<DIV>Make poisons. There are a bunch of us Assassins all looking for them on the broker, the stuff there so far is re-sold vendor bought stuff we don't want. Where are the alchemist poisonmakers!</DIV>

It has been stated time and again by many of the poison uses that player made poisons vs vendor sold poisons are too close in damage/utility to be worth the cost of production at T4 or T5 (face it T5 poisons max at 200 skill and ya hit that at level 40 making the poison next to useless at level 45), let alone to be worth the cost of production <EM>and </EM>a reasonable markup for profit.

Medium armor costs quite a bit more to make than heavy armor...and some people aren't even willing to pay the price for heavy armor.

<DIV>I have to agree. Alchemy is a waste of a toon now. Hours spent crafting are all down the toilet.</DIV> <DIV>I'd like to see crafters get the ability to change professions, or to add a profession from the same family.</DIV> <DIV>Lets face it, anyone who can make a wood shield should be able to make a wood table.</DIV> <DIV>Dependancy on other classes sucked and this sucks also. I'm sure the bright light at SOE who came up with both ideas got a raise and is drinking a long island iced tea while floating in his pool.</DIV> <DIV>All I ask is that after the swim we get a real intelligent solution the the crafting dilemma.</DIV> <DIV>And no, charging 10sp for one coal wasn't the answer. Fuels are not even together and we have to scroll the entire list before we can pay the insane cost at higher tiers. </DIV>

i would like the ability to change class from alchemist to something else because no currently as it stands anyone can make all of the alchem inks and worts which is the only staple of being an alchem.soe said tradeskilling would be a viable way to play the game and make a profit and gain xp without the need for adventuring and yet in the past week i have only lost money getting to lvl 42 and the only reason i went to 42 is for zone access.i wont even begin the argument that alchems have no place at all as the only interim combine masters and such.it is just a simple statement now.TSing and especialy alchemy is no longer FUN nore is it anything that soe promised .poisons need a 530% increase in damage just to get rich players to want to buy them over storebought.i am pricing T5 inks so low as i am loosing money on them and just recouping some loss and STILL none are buying because other classes are getting XP while making htier own inks for not much diference in cost.something is wrong with this picture

<DIV>Is it true that they are increasing poison charges? If so (as in more than 4 charges) I will be hiring alchemists to make my poison from now on. Also, I'm level 29, since alchemist poisons have a skill RANGE, I can use the level 30 poison to get less resists than the level 20 poisons.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think they do have to fix high level poisons though, not high enough level to see for myself if they are fixed however. Even if they do fix poison up, there won't be a big enough market. Lot's of alchemists, not that many Rogues/Predators looking for poison.</DIV>

<DIV>boo hoo <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I had a bunch of tradeskill books, adept spells, and collection items priced fairly that didnt sell, don't see me here whining that I was screwed over... Just because the biggest money making scam in the game was weakened a bit... Really though, make your final items and stop trying to sell your interims for high prices... potions, poisons, and scout spells are all useful. You should be advertising the usefulness of these items instead of driving the pity train.</DIV>
