<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think the scimitar's where changed a while back to a slower speed, from 1.2 to 1.4. Not sure what happened but now it seems something is not right with them. <DIV>While the ebon weapon does have pretty much the same damage per hit as the other two, it is also hitting faster, allowing that same damage to be dealt at  much faster rate.  This means more DPS from the ebon compared to the other two.</DIV>

Notice how they all have +INT, +WIS, +STR, +AGI, +HP, and +Power. Not only do they offer the same stats, but they also have about the same amount of the stats (save the rare because it's the stats of the next teir). I know this has been stated before, but this is by far my biggest gripe about the game, all gear is pretty much the same. I know my post has nothing to do with the thread subject, but it seemed the question was answered so I took the liberty of pointing something else out in the pictures.

Another way to look at things having the same stats is that you can use a variety of weapons and still do about the same damage with each. While each having different stats is nice the fact remains everyone would look cookie cutter and end up using Pristine Forged Schimatar of Ownage instead of picking some other weapon at random because there was a large difference.
