<DIV>My husband and I have been having a blast playing our shaman/brawler combo. But we have run into a few issues with quests. While back while killing gnolls a key dropped, I won the roll and uploaded it. He went and looked up the quest...was for the lighthouse. Well we have killed countless gnolls now..and no other key has dropped. We play as a duo...and I will have to abandon the quest...never seeing the content. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Last night in Vermins Snye ( first time exploring ) we got a 'torn parchment' drop. I won the roll, was a quest to put the peices together. :/ No other instances of the 'torn parchment' dropped for us...so he didn't get the quest. There is still a possibility it will drop for him...but it's frustrating.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When we were younger, killing the fire beetles for the farmer in Antonica, the quest to kill the scarecrows dropped. I won the roll on it, and we procceeded to camp the beetles till they turned grey...to get him one too...so we could do the quest together. None dropped. We killed them for a long long time. In the end we did kill the scarecrows, but I know he felt bad because he wasn't able to do the quest.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't see why quest sharing cannot be put in. It would promote playing with others, it would make the game a friendlier place, and it would make everyone really happy. I don't see any reason to force a group ( no matter the size ) to camp an area/mob for quest drops, just so everyone can participate in the fun. It's unreasonable, and forces people to have to skip content. And that's no fun at all!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Asharia</DIV>

Yea i have to agree here.. I'd like some kind of quest sharing - to a degree.. some could be exempt - Heritage for example but other "basic" quests like kill 10 of those, or especially access quests will mean all the group can get the quest and do it together..

<DIV>As for the key in antonica, only one person needs the quest and can port the group into the instance.</DIV>

<DIV>Makes sense to me too.</DIV> <DIV>Actually, adding quests that are active for as long as a given party stays together will definatly promote teamwork..Nice when the game take you (as a team) in places u had not forseen..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Look into this SOE , plz</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Keep the fun coming <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>I'm happy others share my view on the quest sharing.</DIV> <DIV>After reading the replies it also occured to me that it would be most grand if they would also tag quests that require killing grouped encounters "Heroic". That way players will know what quests they should 'go for' at a given time...based on playstyle and time alotted for the current play session.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would also like to see some quests tagged with extra info like: (All group members MUST have this quest item to complete this step) Meaning: If you don't have the key you aren't getting in. Or (Only one group member is required to have this quest object to finish this step for the group) Meaning: One key/rock/gizmo of holy power charging whirling thingymo bopper is required for the entire party to zone in/trigger this quest event.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for reading!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Asharia</DIV>
