<DIV>If you are going to steer the adventurers to buying player made food, please do something about the mechanics. I have no problem buying the higher quality food, but the really good stuff lasts 2-4 hours... and if I am exploring or in a pickup group, I might die well before I get to fully use this food.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>End result? I won't buy any playermade food that lasts longer than 1/2 - 1 hr... it's just not worth the risk of the financial hit. Maybe if I am tradeskilling, but I already have plenty of regen there, so do not need the high quality food - long lasting food.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This seems like a problem for both the supplier and consumer. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I have had food in WoW that buffs me up to +10 stamina and +10 str</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have gotten one as a drop. I have used it to buff myself, then died on the next pull</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It happens, its a game, it will happen here</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At least you CAN BUY MORE. In WoW some of that food is very rare and I wont even see that again for a while</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So my advice to you</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dont die, or suck it up</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It happens in every game</DIV>
Personally I generally have 2 different qualities of drink , food is not as important imho, on me. Shorter duration stuff for when I'm out adventuring and some very long duration stuff for crafting. The short stuff is cheaper and is no big deal if I die right after drinking <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But the long stuff is ideal for long crafting sessions, drink once and not worry about my regen.

<DIV>You people dont get it... "Don't die".... why do you even post? Loser troll</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The point is, that the quality of food from crude to pristine, the time increases.... not the effect of the food. The time increase is something that is not always usefull.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not crying about getting hosed over on the food, I still buy it, I still use it. I was pointing out a valid problem that I see in the provisioners pristine results.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bring something usefull to the discussion or don't post..... loser trolls</DIV>

<DIV>Food is a buff - all my buffs disappear when I die.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I dont see this as a problem with the provisioner items, since storebought crap goes away when you die too. I see it as a part of the already ridiculously low death penalty - lose buffs (including food) and get a meager amount of exp debt which you can just sleep off and have to run back to camp.</DIV>
