Let´s call out a general strike and stop crafting. Wait, we don´t stop crafting thoroughly, we just produce for ourselves and our friends. Look who´s king of the hill now.Honestly, only buy crafted good if you think they´re worth it. That way well come coloser to a working economy.

<DIV>at least the origional poster expressed a concern/opinion, and offered his own way of dealing with it, as opposed to the IBTL people that post a single accronym and nothing else... kinda like forums/threads where people post: First Post! and nothing else... Reminds me of kindergarten kids about to play tag yelling out 1 2 3 not it</DIV><p>Message Edited by Miral on <span class=date_text>02-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:51 PM</span>

<DIV>not really. Basically what he is wanting is a boycott of player made goods. Hell, America was basically founded on a boycott of taxed goods...</DIV>

<DIV>Actually you wish to insult me for saying in before the lock and nothgin else. Here is why I would do such a thing. And I would also like to refer the same person I am directing this to to search for name name in the forums, this op and his absolutely baseless, ignorant and degenerate post was worthy of nothing else, and earned my first silent IBTL.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The op is both ignorant and shortsighted in both his views and post. This change is for both adventurers and crafters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Let me reiterate, this change is for the BENEFIT (i.e the overall good) of both the crafters (people who create items with a longer lvl span and mediocre stats) and adventurers (who from chest drops supply better than all but crafted rares, statwise, but at the cost of a shorter duration of use.)  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How does this change do these things you ask? Simple. By preventing the trivialization of the items in the game so that they are more appreciated/valued due to the fact they now leave the game. At the same time removing interdepndance depreciates crafted goods (I know I lowered all my t5 pristine shields and bows from 7g to 5g), due to the fact you can make something from raws for less than you couldpaying greedy subcomponent makers pbefore the patch.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Thus making loot drops worth more to players who wish to broker or auction them and making player made gear more affordable and at the same time producing long term viability for crafters, and adventurer incomes alike.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now why did I say i before the lock instead of what I just posted? The title and nature of the ops thread is akin to an attempt at a petition, protest or blacklist, all against forum regulations, directed at every player who chose to value the crafting part of this game, just because the op did not. The op started this thread expecting it to degenerate into a mindless flame war, and to stir the proverbial pot, and make waves.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, again, and with more understanding as to why I say this. In Before The Lock of This Degenerate, Pointless Attempt at a Blacklist (ala against forum rules) of all Crafters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Alexis.</DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Darken_Star on <span class=date_text>02-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:40 PM</span>

<DIV>Horizons all over again. The Adventurer verse Crafters debate (War) has begun in earnest. Lets put a stop to it all. How about crafters <STRONG>and</STRONG> adventurers verse the developers that incite this nonsense. There already was a decay system (death based) in place. They just didn't have the guts to let decay make items go completely away. Instead we get high fuel costs and terrible sell back prices.</DIV>

<DIV>adventures still cant sell there armor which is a bunch of bs. there is no point to it... there will allways be a plase ofr crafters weather i like it or not. but when a big portion of what i have invested my gold into is suddenally taken away with out justification then me and everyone else has a right to be pist. say i was an unlucky person with the lotto system.... then what? i cant get gold worth a s**t, i can still do quest but there time consuming and usally have a horrible reward. you cant do soemthing liek this while keeping the same amount of currency in the game. this would be ok if they inflated the markets a little and prices stayed were they were. But no they couldnt do that. they just had to screw over basically any adventurer whos a little tight on cash. so anyway thanks SOE for making the market a better plase... this might actually beet the agitlity nerf that scouts were cursed with a while ago. And i thought the couldnt get anymroe stupid...</DIV>

<DIV>Hmm.. in my opinion the patch was actually a bless. (90% sure of it) I enjoy both crafting and adventuring in the game. And looking at it from both sides I think this will work, though I am a little bit sceptic still. I'm not sure about attuning all items. Maybe that was a bit to much. They should have instead made all armors raceunique. For example, a dwarf shouldn't be able to wear a human armor hehe. That would look funny, and the other way around. It would create some balance but still not making it to much for the players to handle.</DIV> <DIV>SOE think the change will improve the economy. In my opinion, the only ones who can change the economy in the game are the players. If everyone could stop overpricing on the market and actually sell items for what they really are worth, then pherhaps we could have an enjoyable game! It sounds so good in theory huh? I've come to know gamers to well though... maybe I'm generalizing but, I know greed is hard to handle for some of us atleast. So... less whining, more playing! :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
