<DIV>I know there are always going to be some exploiters.  But there is no reason why honest players should suffer.  The reasons why I think everyone should get at least 48 hours warning is as follows:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Players in the middle of doing a workshop task were doing it thinking that they were going to get paid a certain amount at the end of the process.  Now they may get a lot less [of course it could end up being more <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />].  A player may have used almost all there cash flow making the items work a work order.  It would be very unfair to them to lose tons of money.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) Fuel.  Its not a big cost at the moment, but everyone shoudl get a chance to use up their inventory if they want.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3) Everyone whomhas stuff already made should be given the chance to sell it at the old prices.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm sure there are oterh examples.  But the key is not to hurt the 95% of honest crafters just to stop a few numnuts from finding a loophole and making some money.  If you can think of a way to nerf them in the process .. go for it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by SavinDwarf on <span class=date_text>02-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:24 AM</span>

<DIV>And so the world turns, bringing with it another stroke of the pendulum, another problem for mankind to face, another fix that is too little, too late. The apocalypse has already come, and our creators are just feeding the fire with their sticks of nerfiness...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ok, overexagerating just a tad perhaps.</DIV> <DIV>wheel of morality turn turn turn...</DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=1>What part of there are still problems on test is hard to understand!!!</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>This is the sloppiest QA on a test server I have ever seen, they made more adjustments on test last night and STILL push this update out this morning.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>Not to mention, that as I try to log on to Mistmoore, I get the error message "World Mistmoore cannot be found".  [Removed for Content], if this breaks the servers again with another poorly tested and ill conceived patch then SOE truly deserves any loss of business that follows.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>And before we get all the fanboi flames, I have been programming in several environments over the years (22 years in the field to be exact) and supervising others who do, and if anyone that worked for me put a patch out for other than a critical, system down issue with this disregard for the other known problems with it, they would find themselves looking for a job that very afternoon.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV>

<DIV>That is true.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thay have no choice but to do wide spread tests on the live servers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Some people take this all too seriously, I play for fun.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So far I am having a blast.</DIV>

When patches get to test, it is only a matter of time before they go live. Consider that your warning to take advantage of something one last time. Behind that, proceed at your own risk.
