View Full Version : Items Attunable - but there's one small problem

<DIV>Items are attunable - help economy -blah blah, I get it. This would seem to have the possibility of goodness but I have to ask, if the dropped items are still better than crafted - why bother? I'm hoping I missed some line in the patch somewhere - so please someone kindly let me know.</DIV>

There's a second problem with it from what I can see.When the patch goes live I'm assuming that all attuneable items will be set to an "un-tuned" state and you will have to attune it before you can wear it.However, in the short term I don't see how this change help clear stuff from the market. The brokers are full of stuff currently and this will all still be tradeable so people will just leave it on broker for sale. In the medium/long term things will settle down, but will it be quick enough to stop the crafters giving up ?I suppose the devs could "accidentally" make the NPC purchase price on these items very high so everyone clears out their stocks, and then realise their "mistake" a day or two later and nerf the prices back down again <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>I guess i wasn't very clear - sorry. Where is the incentive to create items that are lower quality than some of the more popular drops? Did they make dropped items attunable? If not then I'd imagine that prices for those items will sky-rocket if you can pass the item to other alt's</DIV>

All items that have magical bonuses are now ATTUNE. The only items that I've heard of that aren't attuneable are the common, vendor-trash, no-stat drops. It affects, pretty much everything (as it should, and as it needs to in order to be effective).Any item that you find that has bonuses and isn't attuneable is probably a bugged item and should be reported via /bug.

<DIV>There was a dev reply regarding the future of crafted items saying a balance pass was going to be done with them so they are more in line with what the power of crafted items was intended to be.
