<DIV> I was perusing the forum and found a thread where someone was saying</DIV> <DIV>you should have a slider to choose how much xp gets put into artisan and</DIV> <DIV>adventure and all that.... Anyways, this put an idea into me head:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> A slider to choose what percent of xp earned goes towards paying off</DIV> <DIV> debt! Now, I know what you're thinking: "But can't people just put it at the</DIV> <DIV> minimum and act like its not there?" Alas, that could be a problem... But</DIV> <DIV> wait! I have the solution: Make it so that you cannot ding if you have debt.</DIV> <DIV> This would be handled much like the class quests, where you still gain</DIV> <DIV> experience, but it does not ding and it caps at 220%. This system would</DIV> <DIV> provide a much more dynamic solution to recovering from death. You</DIV> <DIV> can still gain abilities from your next level like you do with hallmark caps,</DIV> <DIV> you just can't get the other benefits that come with a higher level.</DIV>

<DIV>I dont get the idea, or why its needed.. If you have 500 points of debt, its still going to take that exact amount of exp to pay for that debt. whether you set it for 100% or 1%. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Unless of course you want it so you can set it to the minimum and burn off more debt while you are sleeping.</DIV>

<DIV>The main point is so if you are say 3/4 of the way thru your level and have a bad night with tons of debt, you can still gain your skills form the next level in a reasonable mount of time without having to go thru 1/4 of a level with half xp...</DIV>

<BR> <DIV>I was searching around to see what you are talking about for a bit but I did finally find this:<BR></DIV> <BLOCKQUOTE> <P> <HR> </P> <P>Players will no longer receive a "mini-ding" at reaching 100% of a level if they are unable to gain a level due to a milestone requirement (such as the citizenship quest, class quest, etc.).<BR></P> <P> <HR> </P></BLOCKQUOTE><BR> <DIV>I assume that is what you were talking about? I vaguely remember seeing that before... I havent been in that poition yet to see if it gives spells or not... anyone that has?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If this is true then I guess just disregard this... though the slider would still be nice so if you have an opportunity for a good gorup (a rare find) you can kinda stretch your debt out a bit so you get moreactual xp and can get to mini-dings faster... then it can wear some of the debt off while you are offline... I dono</DIV></FONT>
<DIV>i dont see a reason 2 fix something that isnt really broken,im quite happy with the current system.</DIV>
