If your an alchemist, you should be able to refine alchemy item into 4 (pristine). If your a sage and you want to refine some (sage stuff) you create 1 or you get an alchemist to make 4 from the same refine (assuming they are the ones you need to make it). Does this make sense? What I'm trying to say is if you need to make something and its part of your 'craft' you can make one refined item at a time. If you want more, ask a 'specialist'.As for provisioners, they should be able to refine any food to make multiples. As for multiple combine foods, maybe they make 2 at pristine, but for shorter times (or same as 3rd level quality) but still quantity of 2.And the increase in fuel costs is a direct method of killing solo crafting, or at least making it extreamly hard to maintain, unless your a powerleveler and like to adventure or have extreme amounts of guild time.

<DIV>I thin it's a good idea in theory, but instead, how about if the primary classes make multiple interrim products? So, while a Sage using her new skill to make paper makes on, I was woodworker makes two.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This makes more sense to me than me making 4 bows on a final combine. It boosts the interdependancy market while allowing dedicated community crafters to be good to each other. It also sucks the gouging out of the raw resource market.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Unfortunately, it runs counter to the Dev concept of removing money from the economy. But it would be a nice perk if implimented with the fuel cost changes. Okay, it costs me 15s for fuel, but at least I get two paper out of it.</DIV>

Thats a nice idea too.Overall, I feel (obviously the devs don't), that if your a Specialist, then you should be able to make a maximum of 4 (pristine) when refining and a maximum of 2(pristine) for interm. If you are not a specialist but it is your field, then you should be able to create ONLY your required refined items to a max of 1 or 2(pristine). The only reason why I can't see the devs adding this is due to the economy. They don't seem to like much of anything when it comes to making toons more productive, as the powerlevelers would overload the economy. At least thats what seems to be the concern.Always comes down to the middle ground. Casual players have to dump a load of time into crafting to get anything and powerlevelers get bored from dumping in time because they have everything.

<DIV>The multiple items is a good idea, but the way they did it i think will work too. The specialist can make the item cheaper than the sage can make it, so ideally the crafter can buy his components from the specialist, saving money and the specialist still making profit.</DIV>
