<DIV>I for one would welcome copies/transfers of live characters for the purposes of making the game better. I enjoy the solitude of test and handle the challenge of playing there because I enjoy it. But I am also committed to making the game a better game. I like it, I want it to be strong. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am only a level 18 shaman, and a level 21 Provisioner. I would test anything they ask me to. I /bug and feedback things that I know will bother players on the live server even if they don't bother me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Test is not for everyone full time. But they need full time people to play up through the ranks and they need players at every level as soon as they can get them. Whatever they do to address this I want to remind everyone, Test is new. It is a work in progress. It's value and contribution might be limited by the volume of players and their lack of haste advancing. But we are valuable. I take some offense at comments like Test-Superiority Complex. I don't for a minute think I am a better player because I play on Test. I just like it here. But, I am valuable. So, are all players. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Many of us on Test will be playing our characters up through the ranks here to make the game better and because we like it. Please help us help you. There are many forums for your specific questions. If it is something very pertinent to the Test Patch, that you can assist us with working out please direct your posts to some testers. I'd be happy to check out the recipe books. I have a level 10+crafter in each of the areas than can check the standard books, and I suspect I could get someone to check the others. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV> <DIV>Eva</DIV>

<DIV>Nothing, someone in some other thread mentioned they would test things on Test but they would want to be copied there instead of leveling up. I think the thread was degenerating so I was trying to point out that I thought it was a fine idea, if people who came over really were there to help make the game a better place.</DIV>

<DIV>Ahh, didn't see that thread. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Well I concur, always happy to see new folks that want to help out.</DIV>

<DIV>It would work for me too. Let people copy over and test changes for themselves. One downside is that all changes on test don't make it to live. Someone may love a new spell, then find out it was determined to be overpowered on test and does not go live. </DIV>

<DIV>I think this was discussed already, back when they first brought Test out, and devs declined to allow this. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It would create a lot of issues, with different level characters being copied into Test at different times, with</DIV> <DIV>things on Test possibly causing problems with those different characters because of things that are </DIV> <DIV>being Tested... well, some bs like that anyway.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't mind this. One of these days they'll install the same sort of "/testbuff" here that they had in EQ, </DIV> <DIV>and those of us who worked our tails off from scratch on Test will be really mad at all the /testbuffed </DIV> <DIV>"production" players flooding our server at higher levels every time their home server is down for patch</DIV> <DIV>or whatever. Right now it's not too bad because they only flood IoR and low level zones on Test.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Intuitienne</DIV>
<DIV>I have a few issues</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wouldn't ppl just copy over their crafter alts? Can't see there being much tradeskilling on Test if this happened. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Shouldn't ppl have to play their way up like Live, Seems to me we're supposed to test the process of building characters rather than the situation of being uber</DIV>
