<div></div>I wonder what the signigicance of the two moons is. I'm picking my brain wondering when the second one showed up? is it a foreshadowing of luclin being the next expansion or soemthing? That or maybe I'm jsut too dumb to realise that there were two all along<div></div>

I've always heard that the moon that you see in eq1 is Drinal, (the whole one showed in the pictures), and that Luclin was hidden behind a vale set up by the goddess of the same name, at least before it exploaded. As the the changes of hte cracks on Luclin, if you wantch it of a night the moon will rotate, theres actualy a section of it that is completly whole.<div></div>

Correct. Drinal was the one you saw from Norrath. Luclin could only be seen from the Plane of Sky. And yes, Luclin does rotate so it's not magically repairing itself. Sit and watch it in-game sometime. It's actually very pretty on higher graphics settings.<div></div>

I would think that the 2nd moon is indeed Luclin, either in a state of disintegration or condensing. Presume disintegration. You should repost this in the lore forums.

<P>This sure is a beautiful sight.   Antonica is one of the best places to see both moons together.</P> <P>I always look for the moons when running through - perhaps I only noticed it on my days of searching for the perfect beach <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </P>

The Newbie isle is the only place I've found so far that doesn't have some tint of overcasting... you seem to get the best "sky at night" there.<div></div>
