<div></div>I want to eventualy do character concept work for MMORPGs and table top rpgs. As a kid I fought with the idea of going to art school dew to the fact that EVERYTHING is done on computers now, and I felt that such a thing kind of takes away the fun of it. I love to do my art by hand.I also want to draw comics, though that isnt much of a money maker unless the particular comic takes off. Even then comics tend to change hands in the relm of artists constantly.Kessia189- Darn. . . and i went over the spelling so many times too. >_< Thank you for pointing that out. Unfortunatly I can't change it now. *crys* Never was good at spelling.<div></div><p>Message Edited by RatQueen on <span class=date_text>07-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:29 AM</span>

Wonderful drawing! Very emotive!I would like to say, however, there seems to be a misconception about the value of a computer when it comes to artwork. A computer neither adds nor takes away from the skill and talent required to generate works of art. A computer is merely a tool, no more or less segnificant than an artists pens or pencils. There are artists that prefer using the computer, but there are artists that perfer using acrilycs in their works as opposed to oils. You do no need to use a computer to become a wonderful artist, but I would say, please, do not devalue anothers artwork if they did. For them, the computer was their tool of choice and they are just as attached to their works as you may be of yours.Again... beautiful drawing!<div></div>

Oh dear. I didn't mean make it seem like that. I know now that a computer is a great way to do art work. I was just saying that as a child I thought that. Now a days I realize that computers are a great medium to alter enhance or finish artwork, even hand drawn artwork. The misconceptions of youth become the acceptances of adulthood and all that.<div></div>

<DIV>You have really captured her misery in this peice of work.  As the others have said it is both beautiful and sad.  Nice pic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I understand what you mean about the computer artwork.  In the gaming world there does seem to be a lot of computer drawn art.  It is very beautiful and I like it very much.  However, in the 'real' world hand drawn/painted art is more abundant.  Never fear that your talent will not have an outlet.  Its nice to see paper art in the gaming world.  You should take a look at Lockwood's thread.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/5623/bothsig2kp1.gif"></DIV>
