Guild Flags

They could be equipable by guild/raid leaders during raids and it would add more prestige perhaps to raids and it would help customize your guild's image. The flag would be big, attached to raid leader's back and after the raid put to on the ground next to a killed mob. They would be removed after a week or earlier by another guild who kills the same mob. The problem would be that they could represent only 1 guild, so they would be used mostly by top raiding guilds, or guild that hosts raids. They could be equipable only during raids (need at least 2 groups to equip this item) and left on the ground only a few minutes after killed mob. in WoW, they have Guild Tabards - which for those who don't know what they are.. they slip over your head and cover front and back, leaving your sides open.. and they have your "Guild Crest / standard / icon / logo" (what ever you wanna call it) on the front.  Honestly, I think it's a good idea.  the guild leader chooses the design from a good selection of colors, borders and icons, and a merchant ( i would think in the city guild office) would sell the Tabard, which is automatically updated with the graphic of whatever guild you belong to.<div></div>

On Dark Age of Camelot you can get your guild's logo put on Cloaks and Shields... You can pick what the logo looks like out of certain options... its colors and they have a few symbols you can pick from... Symbols are like... a dragon, hawk, sword and shield.... different symbols for the logo.<div></div>

And personally I think the guild insignia would be best displayed on claoks (since we need them) and shields. I think the tabard would take away from the gorgeous armor but if you could select your display preference. Like maybe you could purchase different displays depending on guild level. Say tabard at lower then claok and shield or whatever order.:smileyhappy:</font>

Honestly I already expected to see something like this when I first pre-ordered the game. One possible way to add it so you could always have it, is whenever you wear a tunic, an area the size of your racial fist could display a small icon... Im no Photoshop expert, but If somone else could help me I could beter illustrate my point.Till then, imagine this, you are wearing a plain white robe, your guild insigina has a red circle and a yellow lighting bolt across it <span>:smileywink:</span> Whenever you equip a tunic you could see this image over one of your breasts, remove the tunic and it disappears as well. No doubt there would be some bugs for things like the starter Bruiser tunics, So for those instances it would display on an armband.<div></div>

IF we had capes ....and they were visable like they are in WoW ...(one thing I really liked there...wearable showable capes...sigh...long standing " I want" all during my years in EQ ...I think everyone wanted the cape to show in EQL )the idea of the logo on the cape is a neat one...coz once I got some nice looking armor in WoW I quit wearing my guild tunic.<div></div>

<div></div><p>There have been 20+ threads on this over the last 1.5 years. Devs never responded and we never got any traction.</p><p>Guildwars is probably the best example of this being used today....in the form of capes/cloaks.</p>
