Is there a place I can download the opening movie that now plays when you start up the game? I want to show the guys at work, but can't start the game up at work.

<div>I still do not understand why they censored the video. The first time Soe released it there was not that ugly white glow when the guy hits the trolls... and then, one day the video changed. I still have the old uncensored version on my HD :/</div>

<div>I thought that white glow (and some of the electricity you can see) was the result of his being a paladin.  That's what happens when Klumpp uses some of his spells and combat arts.</div>

<div></div>Nah, its censorship.  Both times you see the flash are where you used to see him stab the mobs.  Its not a glitch, its not a spell effect... its the man!

You can also find it on our Movies page. <a href="http://movies.station.sony.com:7000/patch/web/eq2/eq2_cg_trailer.wmv" target=_blank>Download it here</a>! <div></div>

<div></div>BG.... you must be "The Man" because that one is censored too!

Does anyone know why it took like a year and a bit to add this movie to the game? I remember seeing it before eq2 was even released seems a bit odd (and pointless).<div></div>

Isn't it suppose to play at startup...?  All I get is a black screen and sound at 1280x 1024  any suggestions?<div></div>

I know I'm playing Everquest, a SOE product, and I know the story. I'm just gonna click past it anyways, be nice if there was an option somewhere to decide if you wanted to show it at launch or not. Almost as annoying as that stupid book every time you log on a character still on one of the newbie islands. *grumble*

<div></div>I really wish they would stop toning down EQ2 for the whining PC crowd. I also own the old version of the video, and its awesome. There simply is no need for the lame white glow which obscures the action
