I decided to make a composite picture of how I think my swashbuckler would dress on any given occasion. Merciful shadow (or whatever it's called) garb underneath, with his favorite robe over the top. Slap on an anisotropic filter and roughen up the outlines, and voila!

Anyone else got some crazy dress-up combinations?

Hey thanks! Yeah, it turned out better than I thought this time. Really simple to get the effect in Photoshop Elements. Just make a copy of the screenshot, apply Filter -> Stylize -> Diffuse...Anisotropic FIlter on the bottom one, set the top one to a Multiply later at about 75% opacity, and apply Filter -> Sketch -> Photocopy to the top one. Cheesy, but it gets the job done. Already had one person ask if he could "borrow" this sequence. I expect the royalty check in the mail any time now. :smileytongue:
