The original screenshots saved from EQ2 don't have that much artifacting - it was opened and saved in another program. What they did in that program is unknown, but why that was needed is a good question. In fact, as far as I can tell, the original screenshots have zero artifacts whatsoever. Had he simply uploaded those original files, the artifacts would not be present at all. <div></div>

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of embedded watermark that is built into the screenshot process to detect fraudulent screenshots.  In any case, both the screenshots have different dimensions, which aren't any of the choosable resolutions.  Since the image doesn't look like it has suffered any distoration other than from JPEG compression, I would guess it was cropped, but why crop a few pixels? I can't say whether if it's a fault of the game or an attempted trickery from the user, but If you're trying to build a strong case around a screenshot, it's best to leave it untampered or else it's just going to raise more questions.<div></div>

Having copied the screenshot to my desktop, I printed  a copy of it using my company's $6000 digital Laser Photo Printer, I then examined the photpraph using a EiS Chromatograph and determined that the colors of each of the numbers were exact to within .0003 per cent.  I then used a Blink Comparator (a tool used by Astronomers to find objects that move within a background of stars (asteroids, comets, Kuiper Belt Objects, etc) and have determined that there is minimal offset in the numbers within their respective boxes, probably in the area of 2 to 3 pixels; in essence, indistinguishable. In conclusion, there is not a piece of over-the-counter software that can be used to create a fake of this quality, if indeed this IS a fake, which, in my opinion, it is NOT. <div></div>
