Just because they are real, doesn't mean they look good. Realism has no place in games or movies!! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Actually, realism DOES have a place in Everquest 2. Albeit to a certain degree. The dents on permanent scratches on carbonite armor has no place in a world where you can summon stone from thin air. However, some armor pieces and weapons need to be realistic, but not rediculous, like an elf wielding a weapon twice his size.

Considering that SOGA impliments a couple of hair styles that highly resemble that of Tidus or Squall, having Cloud hair might not be too far fetched. All they would really need to do is put in angular or round faces, instead of square jawed ones and it would be just like FFXI. As for weapon scaling, i personally prefer weapons to stay a consistent size, instead of change depending on character size. Back when i played DAOC, whenever a small character would use a "Great Sword", it would look like s/he was using a short-sword with two hands, since the distance from the waist to just above the head wasn't exactly long.
