I hope this is the place to post this request, does ANYONE know of a place to download the original Everquest ((not Everquest 2)) opening cinematic. It showed Veeshan creating the world, humans sailing across one of the oceans, a Halfling sneaking up on a sleeping Ogre. I've lost my original copy of the game, and I have the platinum edition, but can't seem to find the movie on that disc. Does anyone know where this can be found? <div></div>
I didn't know there was one, but I'd love to see it as well! <div></div>

<DIV>I have that file myself and anyone who owns the original EQ CD from 1999 has it as well. (Not any of the later versions/compilations). If you look on the original CD, the movie file will be called EQINTRO.SMK. It can not be viewed by your average video viewer but you can do a search in Google or another search engine as "RadTools" and they have a free download of their RadToolSet that includes 2 programs called Bink and Smacker that will view that file ... if you have moved that eqintro to your harddrive you can use radtools to convert the file to an AVI file for media player to view it as well... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sorry I dont have a location on the web for that video itself... I have never seen it outside of the original EQ cd (probably for copyright reasons?)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It was a nice intro vido for the original EQ but suffers from its age if you look at it from today's vastly improved computer video graphics point-of-view.</DIV>
