<DIV>Noticied these threads havent been posted to in last couple days.  Was curious if any conclusions have been made as to which ones show more improvements over others.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know they are all minimal amounts for damage.  But I would like to at least go the one that gives the better minimal damage over the others.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I noticied a symbol adornment that adds up to 25 poison damage.  And there is that Assassin's signet that is a symbol we can use.  Know it drops somewhere in one of the Bonemire zones.  Symbol icon looks like a circular bone face.  Granted would lose a bit of stats from using it over Wurmslayer bow.  But, if caustic or hemo is getting that, and with frotnload, could add a bit of dps.  Maybe I will try to parse that out.</DIV>

<div></div>Well, the whole point of the combat changes was to make them equally important.Thats how i look at it though. . .  Dps and haste are still the biggest factor in incrasing damage.  +pierce mostly matters just for our melee damage since our cas have a pretty good to hit ratio and crits effect both melee and ca damage equally.  However, you get more damage out of hitting more often (especially with dps and haste buffs) then criting so they both even out imo and it comes down to what mobs you are fighting (for orange you want melee stats and for anything else crits).Hemo vs Caustic:  dirges, templars and maybe other classes have buffs to increase proc % so caustic.  I am literally going through twice as much vials of caustic since our dirges/templars got those aa proc buffs.+12 vs damage proc:  damage proc is better for us, unless you somehow end up with a 1sec delay weapon.  Also, its good to have those procs because of the group proc buffs and if you plan on taking frontload.  Its still minimal damage though so it comes down to +piercing for high end raiding and orange mobs or procs if you dont fight high lvl mobs as much.Thats just my own opinion, i am interested to see if someone has a different approach to this.Satinah/Salinah<div></div><p>Message Edited by Satie on <span class=date_text>12-23-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:07 PM</span>

If I had the $ I'd buy some crit adornments.  But I have +10 dps adornments and I'm fairly happy with them.<div></div>Hemo vs. Caustic is still up in the air.  As far as I know I'm the only that has done a week of parsing both.  That's probably too small a sample size to tell.  However, to me it seemed about even, and much worse on some fights.  Caustic is more consistent with hemo spiking positively sometimes.  This is on raid mobs.On my weapons I now have the poison DOT on my primary and magic on secondary.  I'd buy the +5 piercing for secondary but I don't think its worth the $$$ it sells for on Nektulos.

<DIV>I haven't parsed the differences yet... but in thinking about which would be better: </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hear the +12 is normalized over 3 Seconds. Which should mean that over 60 seconds it should produce about 240 damage. Multiply that by 2 weapons and you have 480 dp/m or about 8 dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The magic proc one does 310 per hit, and is rated at 1 proc per minute. Times 2 weapons = 620 dp/m or about 10.3 dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With debuffs, I normally see the magic proc in the 400+ range, though, so think that's a little higher. Also, I don't believe the +12's can be effected by crits--and I'm pretty sure the added DD/DoTs can.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would be much more inclined to use the +Pierce if the 12 was added to lower and upper range of the weapon instead of a flat, normalized damage added.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My pierce skill, self buffed is 439. Is the +5 Piercing adornment really worth the fabled cost of making it at that level?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Still unsure which to use--watching this thread to hopefully see some parses that either confirm or deny the dps I *think* is should be produced by the adornments by their numbers. For now, I like the magic damage DD proc one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nihyn - Guk</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Here is the problem with your equation Aanak...the +12 also affects combat arts <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ...... so basically lets say you spam nonstealth CA's with a 4 sec delay mainhand and are 100% hasted.....your weapon will do 6 dps ....and 24 dps added to combat arts = 30 dps from adornment...of course once u run the stealthed ca conbos you loose out on your auto atack....but like its been stated ...if you got a 3+ delay mainhand get the +12 .....and for offhand get a proc</P>

In the main hand your +dmg adorn will hit after CA's as well.<div></div>
