Very well, in T7. Although with EOF we have lost a bit relative to other dps classes, it's still decent.

if you ask me we are headed for a prolonged period of weakness relative to other dps classes in t7.rangers and necromancers are superior for EoF raidingwe don't have a swashy but from looking at their aa setup they look to be a great class right now. maybe someone that raids with one can chime in.i'm not sure where wizards will end up ours are up high enough in their aa's for me to know.i'd say it's not a great time to come back if you care a lot about being top dps.

Unless there's a lot of good gear that is going to help us, I'm pretty sure wizards are going to be better in EOF in terms of EOF. Our good swashy is parsing pretty impressively, actually so is our brigand now. The Ranger is now equal to me with more AA to go, I think they will pass me, but it depends on what kind of items come out of EOF.

Of course I think until you get to the very end of the abilities your skills & gear are far more of a factor. nothing is far enough apart now that the basic classes matter more with respect to dps than that for dps classes.

atm in my guild, where most everyone has 25+ masters, the dps ranking is like this.swash/necroassassinvery close behind, wizard/ranger/conj/warlockbrigand/bruiserzerkeretc.this is all post EOF.. and on fights where there's a considerable ae the swash, necro/conj, and assassin go down, while the wizard/warlock and ranger go up considerably. Imo we're still a force to be reckoned with, but its alot harder to get that top spot anymore.. i'm finding it more and more that its coming back to tier 6 where we can only get the spot if we have a decap to burn, or killing blade or finishing blow get a nice crit.

Thanks for the replies. I was just really burned out from the game. Tried Stormreach......it sucked....Just tried WoW on a pvp server, not impressed at all....and NWN2 took a few days to beat.....So it looks like i'll be reinstalling EQ2....Thanks again for the update!

brad
