<DIV>has anyone been able to do any testing with the bleed line?</DIV> <DIV>I am curious to see what kind of a dps boost you can get from the added dot dmg.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

it will increase dps, but the incrase is very small. the final bleed ability is a must imo, so we get a huge debuff and a small increase in dps. pretty nice imo sure i would love it to be more, but im happy with them. i woul have rather seen it a % incrase to the whole skill cause that would have actually given a decent dps increase.

<DIV>idk the final bleed ability seems like a very shaky sta debuf the sekond your dot wheres off he gets his health back</DIV> <DIV>unless im missing something here</DIV>

<div><blockquote><hr>Mr. Dawkins wrote:<div>idk the final bleed ability seems like a very shaky sta debuf the sekond your dot wheres off he gets his health back</div> <div>unless im missing something here</div><hr></blockquote>It will work the same way the other stamina debuffs have been changed to work.  Shrinking the mob's max health pool effectively amplifies how much "damage" everyone is doing to the mob.  It doesn't show up on the parser, unless you're paying attention to total damage done to said raid mob with/without the debuff. For example: Say you keep three bleed arts maintained on a target for 24 seconds (I only see 3 singles, 1 ae on my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]. alt, are there more bleeds?). During that time, since the mob's max health pool is shrunk 15%, each damage hit the raid / group inflicts is a 15% larger portion of the mob's total pool.   Mob A starts out with 10,000 health.  You hit with three bleed arts.  Mob now has total health pool of .85*10,000 or 8,500 health.  You melee the mob for 500 damage, or 5.88% of it's total health bar at that moment.   You stop fighting, and mob returns to 10,000 max health - but is still missing 5.88% of its health.  That 500 damage hit was actually a 588 damage hit, respective to the mob's original health pool.  This is how they changed the stamina debuffs to work for shaman, and I'm sure SOE is using the same mechanic here, as the alternatives they tried were too messy and confusing to folks. In short: while excessive bleeding is active on the mob, you have the chance to amplify group/raid damage by up to 15 or 20% (including the ae), much as mitigation debuffs or DPS buffs do.  While it won't show up as bigger numbers on the parser, mobs will die faster - seems like a very powerful AA option.  </div>

<DIV>does this mean you could take a mob to 5% health with single nukes, then drop 5 dots on him and he should die instantly?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>if yes,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>take that you inquisitors with your 10% to death spell MUAHAHA</DIV>

I respeced to repeated stabbing and Gateway.1.) The defense and mit debuff is better imo than the added dot portion.Drop both debuffs before you drop your concealment combo and time it with dispatch for max effectiveness.2.) Also reduce timer for exacting, and increase stat on 2 of our temp buff is nice. Going to test the dot poison.3.) Gateway: Anyone can confirm that you can get off stealth attack with out breaking stealth. but 30 sec on aoe immunity is pretty good. (imagine mob at 10% and you need that last bit of a burn.) Can anyone confirm if CA will break stealth.4.) Repeat Stabbing is good imo: Each CA will save you .25 second. Take all the CA you cast (except when you do concealment) multiply by the .25 sec. And if you use 1.6 sec DW with 50%ish haste so about 1 sec/swing. Every 4 CA you cast you are getting 2 extra swing (dw). That will add up on ZP. Also concealment, you can now jam in slaughtersault or Hidden assasult after unloading all the other CA. 6x.25 = 1.3 second.

From the other post on Getaway I can confirm that it functions as a 30 second stealth that allows you to auto attack and use normal attacks without breaking the stealth. Its an imensely powerful skill and I use it whenever its up just so I dont have to waste time going back into stealth to chain my stealth attacks.<div></div>

<P>I'm excited about both excessive bleeding and getaway.  repeated stabbing may be the world's best skill but there's no way I'm putting 20 points into the tricks tree.  Or 1 point.  Excessive bleeding is going to be big on raids.  It won't show up as a dps increase, just mobs have somewhat less HP.</P> <P>Has anybody tested excessive bleeding to see how long you can keep it up overall in a fight? </P>
