<DIV>Ok so I've gone down the basic run down Through Str and Int on 4/4/4/4 and am now at a crossroad.  With 17 points left to spend I'm having a very hard time justifying 8 points into either Intoxication or Perfectionist.  They just do not seem to be worth the 8 point cost.   Not only do they seem to be overpowered, but with the extra points you can get alot of other things accomplished.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For example a few things I'm thinking off is using the extra 8 points per line to finish off the melee and poison crit lines and stat increases.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Maxing out the Crit lines in both Str and Int and with the 11 remanining points going into the Stamina line for the added health, or wisdom for added resists.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm currently 49 and am looking for suggestions as to what to do with the last 17 points.  As of now i'm leaning towards going 4/4/4/8-4/4/4/8 and doing something else with the other 9 points perhaps maxing out Stamina or Wisdom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.</DIV>

<P>this topic been done over and over, but I will summon it up for ya.  They guy who says he parsed all the different options says this is the best way to go</P> <P>str 4, 4, 4, 8, 8</P> <P>int, 5, 4, 4, 8</P> <P>there you go, you got a winner now </P> <P> </P> <P>if you do anthing other then this your not maxing DPS and you should respec, cause after all, all assassins have is DPS</P><p>Message Edited by DaStone on <span class=date_text>11-22-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:14 AM</span>

Quite a haughty statement! One person comes in with a DPS parse and that the end all be all of solutions?I think not.For myself, I have had much more fun with my assassin running full stamina line for the surrounding strikes. And depending on the zone or what we are doing, the result has been a much higher DPS than when I was STR line.It all comes down to what works for you and your play style. For 'that guy' who posted the parses before, STR/INT worked well for him.But do what you like.As for Perfectionist, well... I do have to say it was nice getting the 15% damage boost on my Assassinates...<div></div>

<DIV>It would be a good idea to find that other discussion from when we first got Achievements; lots of very good information.  As for spending the remaining 9 points in stats or the end bonuses, consider that stats by themselves you can get on any item or combination of items throughout your leveling, but you won't get the unique benefits of perfectionist anywhere else.  The recast time drop is worth it alone, not even counting the damage bonus.  As for intoxication or the other lines, couldn't help you.  My goal was centered around maxing the crits, and am very happy with the result.</DIV>

<DIV>Perfectionist is worth it.  The 4 extra points in melee crits and spell crits are better than Intoxication.</DIV>

Intox aint worth it. If you have to cast it mid fight the long cast time pretty much negates its dps. IMO its primarily nice for a soloer to help with harder single targets.

<DIV>i solo and raid so i like intox, its almost 4k dmg that i dont have to worry about as i cast it before the fight for soloing yeah its awsome.</DIV> <DIV>for raiding its a hassle to remember to use it, but in a long range fight it helps as you get use contrived wep to stick it to the mob</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>pluss now with my 5 points in poison debuff and poison combination i can debuff for 3k of poisn resist it does about 5k now</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>personaly i dont like raising % chances to anything if you have ever seen me try to roll to get into a guild raid youd know why i thing random chance sucks, thats why i like intox, free 5k dot, and i only have to remember to cast it before a fight</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i wish i could cast it while moving tho</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i had max crits for a while until i switched to perfectionist and intox</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>personaly i dont see a difference</DIV> <DIV>it did make soloing much easyer</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>my 2c</DIV>
