Which path is better for Assassins?

I just got the EoF and KoS expansions so am new to the AA system. Is Predator or Assassin better for an Assassin cos I have read up good on both paths. L 52 Kerran Assassin, and I do use poisons. I'm sorry I don't know what you are refering to. Do you mean which AA line you should take? ex Str, Agi, Int etc...

He's askign which tree to put them into first.  I think the KOS tree is far better and you should max that out before going to EOF AA skills.  Exception: if you are heavily into solo or PVP.

The kos tree (predator) is definately the way to go unless you have a very particular play style ex. pvp, solo.  The new aa are essentially small improvements to already existing skills, the kos aa were redefining in their impact.  Maxing crit chances gives a huge increase in dps.  The extra attacks from str and int lines are also nice to have.  Pretty much I cannot imagine playing without the kos aa, the new aa however while offering some nice benefits are not on the level of the predator achievements.

So, if I read this right, the KoS skills are the Predator ones and I am best to Advance in them, in Int and Str,  then move on to the Assassin ones once I have spent those points? I assume we get more points to spend in the second system then... <P>Yes you are right, spend your 50 points in the predator tree first, then go on to the next 50 in the assassin tree.. that's how i will do it anyway (at 39 aa now).</P> <P>The way i took was 4-4-4-8 in str and 4-4-4-8 in int after. Think i will put the last 8 in the last str ability and then move on to the assassin skills. Else you are welcome to ask in game, i am on splitpaw also.</P> <P>/Nevril</P>

Either I am really tired or your numbers just don't add up... 4-4-4-8 (x2) is 40 - 1 for Bounty which leaves you a total of 9 left... Anywho... Yeah KoS (Predator) Is deffinatly a must do first. If your heavy in to raiding, or max damage, thats the path for you. Raiders I don't think are going to see much bonus when it comes to the new tree, at least not from my look at it.<div></div>

We're a small Guild, so not done much raiding yet - not looking to be a big Guilds, just not combined with others to do Raids yet. We seem to be lucky, though, and have done a couple small Raid Bosses with just 3 of us in Levels 50-60. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But STR is the way I have been going with other Racial skills I get..I take it the Nightshade path, on the opposite end from the STR one, is in fact the INT one? I am also not sure if I have to go and get spell books for these cos I am L 51 and need to go to Maj'Dul now, I don't even get told I have new skills that need spell books. I don't have a Nightshade skill that I know of...Again, thanks for the help, I really appreciate it, and the offer for help in game. I'm Kittsune there, or Khaose, my new Elf Swashie - I'm also trying to gather the necessary for Kitts, who is a Jeweler, to be a Transmuter too.
