Betraying to Assassin after EoF

I don't see this anywhere off hand and not really sure what to search for to try to find the asnwer so please forgive me if I'm blind and not seeing a previous thread answering this question. I'm wondering if we make a toon after EoF release and want to betray it to Freeport as an Assassin, so we now have to start out as a Swashy? Asking due to the new character creation screen grouping Assassin with Swash/Brig instead of with Ranger.
