I'm just curious due to the last post requesting button mapping... What are the Macro's you all run and why?The first I will mention is one I have not implemented yet, but I will be. This was given by Dracorat. All Backstabs (or I may try all stealths, or both) from highest to lowest -- The reasoning is simple as he had stated, your largest one you want to hit first, and if its not up it will hit the next one, if a macro comes to a timer that isn't up, or a skill that can't be used due to position or not being in stealth it just keeps going down the list. One other thing I did not catch if he mentioned or not was Concealment, with that in place you've just triggered a run on all of your backstabs... effectivly crippling the target.2 of MineFirst is my cash cow, Quick Stike line mixed with bounty. In short runs this does nothing, but in the long run... $$$. This easily covers repair costs and then some. I haven't paid any attention to if you can multi proc a mob with bounty yet as I have had this macro since I got the AA. One down side is the random grey or green mob that your group may end up killing. This costs you 3 minutes on the counter for no gain. But alot of the people I talk to don't even use the skill due to its 3 min recast and the fact that its minor coin when they do remember. After telling my friends about this they have all started raking in the money. My other is my Double Shot and Makeshift weapon. This gives me a chance to jump back if I need a heal or because I run out of Melee CA's. One trigger to do 3 hits, and the chance of procs of all your poisons and bow if you have a bow with a proc. And as a last mention, the way I have found to make a macro is /useability [Skill Name] (normally dragging the skill from your skill list into the macro window is the most effective I've found. If anyone else has other ways of making a macro that allows for more then 3 CA's or less excess typing I'd love to know.

It still will only use the first one it finds that is valid and then queue up one more after it, but most of the time, that restriction doesn't amount to beans. As for your concealment comment, I didn't understand what you were looking for.As for putting bounty, my main abilty has that on it as well. And it definitely covers repairs.

Hence my comment about testing the two combinations, with concealment you would be gold on your stealth attacks as they would all be lined up perfectly to do one stream of massive damage. On another note, anyone think this would be a good topic to get stickied? I know it would have made my life so much simpler with the key mapping and less cluttered skills.

Message Edited by HazNpho on 11-10-2006 02:54 PM

I've probably seen over a dozen posts about hotbar layouts because people were finding them too crowded, I figured this could help people cut down on that clutter.
