well I am no expert in this game but the overall view of the peeps here is that INT is more important then AGI or Stam
Message Edited by DaStone on 10-17-2006 02:15 PM

INT is supposed to effect poison procs and the like yes? I've tried buffing my INT a lot and seen very little difference (from the point of view of someone who raids little). It may be useful in a raid but in a group or soloing I'd say that the agi and sta are going to be more valuable to an assassin. Plus I don't want to be wearing pink "melodic" armour

The difference with INT is noticable. I swapped some gear for +20 int and my Caustic proc went up by about 15 damage. With high INT (~400) you can be looking at about 750 from a single non crit caustic proc. I'm sure some of the more frequent raiders here can give you even better examples. 400 INT isn't something I experience very often.Melodic does look stupid though, I agree.

Well, the posts about melodic came about 20minutes too late, Im really digging the bright red and pink on my assassin, no one will see him coming for sure !!

Oh well, time to go do some more assassin like things (Read: bake some muffins)

If I remember right, your Apply poison initial damage will be ~294 (used to be 302 but apparently they nerfed it a little)... I don't recall what the DOT portion of the Apply Poison...

Just a little tip... You poison damage is determined at the time that you apply your poison, not the time in which it procs... So, if you swap to Int gear to cap your Int, your poison damage will remain high until it wears off... It takes a few second to swap gear, apply the poison and swap back, but the result is improved poison damage while maintaining your other stats...

Gwern - 70 Assassin / Parody - 70 Troubador
