Assassin/brigand : not so many differences at low levels because groups used them simply as dps, track, open chests ...

At high levels : you are 2 dps classes exept one have more debuffs ... but still two dps. You can't duo mobs but solo ones. You don't have hp buffs, mana regen ....

For me it's not a good duo if you want to play together. If you want to play 2 scouts why not choosing a assassin (or a brigand) and a bard ? not the same role in a group ...

Assassin + Brigand duo would work but, would be slow and if you got adds you would be in trouble.Brigand + Dirge would be a better combo, or bruiser + dirge would work better. Most melee's work well with a dirge actually, and even some off classes like defiler

As you have posted this in the Assassin thread I suppose your looking at another class to go with an Assassin. So Assassin with Dirge/Troub would be your best bet if your looking for 2 scout classes.Of Course you wont be up to killing epics But most solo white mobs+ you should fly through without downtime. Even if you have to make the Troub take a couple of hits so you can get some back attacks off Make sure you cast Hate on partner, so you can deaggro to get a back attack off and take hate again after.Good luck with what you choose

Back in the day (in my main's 30s, which admittedly were before LU13 and the combat changes) I used to duo with a brigand all the time. It's true that the combo needs to pick and choose its fights, but by that level if the two of you work well together, hol crap! Nothing lives long at all. That said, I have learned that a determined assassin/almost anything duo can take down blue and white ^^^ mobs, occasionally (depending on the second class) yellow. I used to duo a lot with the brigand, with a defiler, and with a paladin; these days I duo most with a Shadowknight. Not every duo works the same way, and you're more effective if you don't have to tank (or, which is fun, if you and the partner are ping-ponging the mob back and forth), but if you really want to you can make almost anything work.

Ive duoed with a brigand friend on mine alot on my 70 assassin... mostly in SoS for claymore but still.

Id pull with surveilence if it was around other mobs. And wed just take agro if we got it. dispatch big hits... on certain mobs we hit 1k DPS each and the mobs died mighty fast

I liked it and it was fun to heh
