Are the assassins hats change (hooluh , nemesis , villain) would be optional ?

Here's whats been forwarded to us.  In terms of the Hoo'Loh hat, you actually have to go back and talk to Hoo'Loh to have the change take place.  I believe that this is the way it works for all dropped hats that were Assassin only (relic) as well.  Forward however, the hat will forever have the face mask to anyone completing the quest under the new update.
