Just wanted to get some other raiding assassins opinions on this, he says he can do 2300 dps on Tarinax every week his guild does him. But anyway just want to know what other raiding assassins think about this.</DIV>

Well i told him peoples opinions on his AA lines, and told that they were stats that should be capped and he had a massive go saying that i wll never be a real assassin and that i can not even do 2k dps....

In fact their leader/tank Clink has helped my guild out before and tanked a raid for us.   To answer your question Banta, My character Cassandri is with The Arcane Order, and we only casually raid.  I just don't play often enough to join the dedicated raiding guilds.  However I pride myself in studying the Assassin class and goto great lengths to equip myself and make my assassin brethren proud.  I've only aquired 3 T7 Fabled's so far, but the only KoS Master I I'm missing is Surveilence. Which of course isn't a priority.On a side note Banta, I notice your High Hit is only 24,086 I would expect more from an assssin in Deaths Door...maybe you guys are still looking for a Brigand?  I know you were looking for one a couple months ago...someone tried to recruit my brother.Now that I got my Master I Decapitate I'll be gunning for your position on the list.</div><p>Message Edited by Griffonage on <span class=date_text>08-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:35 PM</span>

<P>Ok, [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] am I doing so wrong that the highest DPS I've gotten was 1300 (average is between 600-1k)? You folks that are 1500-2k, are ya fully fabled and in optimum performance groups? My raid gear is all  resist based with few stats here and there so I'm not capping my strength and agility (once in a while I'll get my str capped but then my agi is lacking causing power shortage). Normally I'm in with a monk and some casters, sometimes I get an off tank for reliable transfer (which helps because then I can go almost all out) and sometimes I get a Troub (MT group gets the Dirge for regen). I dont claim to know every in and out of being an Assassin but I think I'm pretty good at what I do but if these numbers are average I'm severely lacking somewhere. I have Warding Ebb, Caustic and Ignorant Bliss up at all times (not Grandmasters but its good stuff anyway) Gone down the str line 4/4/4/8/8 and int line 4/4/4/4 (gotta get those last few) and have Adamantine Dragonfang and the Grizz Dirk equipped (hoping for GDoH tonight) . I'd like an example of a group where you've reached this DPS benchmark so I can talk to my Raid leaders about getting me into a group to max my DPS and help to burn the MOBs down faster. I know better gear and such will help and thats what I'm working towards. If these answers are out there already I apologize and humbly ask for a link. If not come with any and all insight because I'm tired of being out parsed by Conjys and Necros. <div></div><div>Haephestus<a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=40&message.id=14557" target="_blank"></a>I'm not as experieced as many of the posters here, however this much i know....my DPS goes up roughly 200 pts every encounter if one of our two brigs shows up on the raid.  does your guild raid with a brig?   As far as resists, someone in you guild should be studying the raid encounters and letting everyone know what resists are required for the next encounter...equip ONLY resist gear required for the encounter at hand.Otherwise Use Stat gear for STR, INT, HP/STA.As an example in Labs last night, since I think were more similarly equipped than many of the hard raiders on.I managed a new high hit 25.4k and averaged 1200DPS when i merged all the encounters.
