I just found out last night that they change the level on Cobalt gear to 52. I assume that this had something to do w/ the fact that it was perceived to be over-powered. That being said, did they change Xegonite to 62? More curious than anything. I'll still grab some Cobalt when I can equip it, but did you folks keep that well into the 60's and upgrade to dropped gear, or did you upgrade to Xegonite @ 60 (62?) then piece meal upgrades as they came in? W/ my Monk, I used the T6 gear until I started getting drops from KoS. Same fer most Assassins out there?

<P>They changed all rare crafted armor that is now crafted to being useable at lvl 12, 22, 32, ect...</P> <P>I have no idea why they did this. It really is pointless to me.</P>

I believe legs are the only T7 xegonite piece I have.  Shoulders, wrists, head, and chest are all dropped from KoS or from Claymore quest line.

I still see people in the old level x0 mastercrafted items, much better stats on them.iirc, at l52 I was wearing the rare crafted set, as was someone else. But they where wearing the 50 set with ~700 more mit and other stuff in with it, can't remember properely... maybe I was imagining it...<div></div>

<DIV>Yeah... i got a good chuckle when my friend said he couldn't wear his cobalt until 52. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was like [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].... they killed the stats and mit AND made it so you can't wear it until 2 more levels.:smileyvery-happy:</DIV>

Makes me glad that my Assassin has the old style Cobalt Chain from before the change.

wait...so not only can you not wear it until 2 lvls later than before...but the stats have been nerfed TOO? Well, I guess you can change my "bummed" to pi$$ed. That being said...I know that Cobalt (previously) was widely thought of as superior to Xegonite (or at least close enuff to not sweat the upgrade). Is that no longer the case? Such that at 62'ish I may want to upgrade to Xegonite (or at least save my copper for KoS drops).

Great info thanks a lot...Guess I'll worry about Cobalt at 52, then hold that gear 'til I get some decent drops once in the 60's.

Yeah, any player can be more or less fully kitted out in legendary after a couple of weeks of KoS zones. The only piece of Xegonite I'm wearing is a pair of imbued pants, because the closer I got to 70 the dumber I felt wearing the cobalt.  A lot of the gear looks stupid (why do the Darkscale Pauldrons, a very nice piece of scout gear, have FINS?!  And why are they PINK?!) but has very nice stats on it. As for weapons, I've actually just dumped a few of my spares because I was just carrying around too many.  There are Legendary drops in the chests in zones (more piercers than slashers, it seems) and at least one good quested item as well. <div></div>

<P>This is pretty good info here.  I'm currently in the process of switching mains, and my Assassin is going to be that main toon.  Currently level 56, but i'm fast approaching 60 and should be there within the next couple of days.  </P> <P>I have my Assassin in almost all pre-patch cobalt chain with exception to shoulders, boots, and head.  But you're right Kella, I think when I start getting up into T7 i'll feel a bit foolish running around in my suit of smurf armor lol.</P>
