Anyone else seeing a problem with swash and brig double attack being far more powerful than it should be? Or know when this might be getting fixed? Tired of staying up at 2k or so DPS on most mob encounters just to find out at the end of the night the total parse shows them outdoing me by 200 or more damage

Show me a full zone parse where the brigs are a couple hundred DPS ahead of you and we'll go from there :smileytongue:

I chose DT raid parse since labs is always lower for all. This is only for the trash mobs no named encounters involved. I was blasting every CA I could and getting jesters hat all night. I was using Wurm main hand and Oblivions edge in off for half of raid and then had Talonsreach in off hand. AA line is Str and Sta so I have steady dps for one mob and multi mob encounters vs just high on single mob encounters. I hit 1800 plus for a good majority of the night on parses.

i noticed it alot on HoS last night .. i was in a less than optimal group (me, Ranger and a Necro to start with then a mystic added later) and averaging about 900-1300 .. the brigand who was in a nice group was dead on 1100-1400 every fight.. usually about 1200.. I'd still be way above him in that same group with the usual buffs on me though..<div></div>

Respec your AAs as others have mentioned.  Make sure you use caustic poison (or adeste's); if you are switching to mental breach for named fights you need to get manastone 1/2 and shard/heart along with a troub.  The key point - you shouldn't be switching poisons unless the other scouts also have to switch.  And by the time this happens all the mages but the summoners will be dry of power.Timmeh / Nektulos server<div></div>

Our Swashy 2:04:16 AM 01:11:11 5485535 0 1281.67 8688 81910 on a bad day in DT. He is awesome. He parses from 1600-2000 on average. I beat him is on single or double encounter(50/50), anything more I lose.I think our reduction in aoe range and 8 max targets really sucks. Here is what I am seeing:Single encounter (less than 1 min)Assassin Brigand ConjurorSwashyWizardWarlockRangerGroup encounter (less than 1 min)ConjurorSwashyAssassin WarlockRangerBrigandAnything over 2 min Usually Conjuror has the advantage, unless they lose their pet to aoeI wish they make a function that you can toggle between caustic and mental, It is such a waste to switch when you are at like 56 charges left.Otherwise I am pretty happy with assassin right now,PS SOE please put eyes on weird looking mob, so we can tell which way they are facing :bCause it is really hard to tell which is the head of a bottle, or a crumbling wall.
