View Full Version : Completely confused about Achievement
<DIV>I am near lv20 and completely new to the game, and I see the achievement points coming real fast now. I have spent some time trying to figure out what I want to do but honestly I am lost. How can increasing my intelligence or my wisdome helps me? I am really confused about which path to take, and would like some help.<BR><BR>Im sure someone is bored at work somewhere and could give me a brief overview of all path and their good/bad points. If not, at least a link to a similar thread <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you have a good day</DIV><p>Message Edited by CoSaX on <span class=date_text>07-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:15 AM</span>

And give you greater frequency at using your heavy hitters with extra damage. The agil line id avoid for an assassin, assassin abilities are already very quick so there is no need to bring out quicker cast times, and it is all around the bow..The STA line will help you out if you want that extra damage with AE's, this line will also help you if you wish to pull on raids, or tank(solo)Your wisdom line is a line I would not worry about, few assassins out there take agro consistantly.Your int line will help you crit with dots, and poisons, as well as debuffing mobs, the end is a single target poison that you have to reclick for each fight..No one can tell you what line is best for you.. There are lines that will give you the most damage for certain situations, but its all about the type of assassin you want to be. You can be a great single target assassin, while still having an edge on multi mob encounters.. Or you can peak yourself to be the best in single target encounters..</div>
<DIV>I have to say that I am mainly looking for a decent pvp build, and following your descriptions I would think that a combo of strenght and stamina lines would probably be a good move. Would I be right?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I personally like the idea of boosting my stamina, as I believe it could be possible to boost my survability while keeping a very decent dps capacity, which would be great for pvp.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any suggestion on how to achieve this?</DIV>

Its going to take you past level 70 before you get 50 aa's.. Do as many quests/collections as possible.. Dont jump in the same zone, go around all of them kill as many named as you can for the aa xp.. There are hundreds (it seems), of instanced zones out there as well.. Make sure you jump into each one of them.

If you are going PvP, you definitely want the agility tree.Faster casts means quicker burst DPS right off the bat and the Point Black Shot includes a PvP knockback and stun, which in PvP is invaluable.<div></div>

<P>In PVP I chose STR and AGI and maxed both, for the shorter duration over 2 min hits in STR and ther quicker casting times, which also helps while harvesting if your interested in that.</P> <P> </P> <P>Buer 70 Assasin Den of Madness</P>

The stat boost portions are just a stepping stone to the skills and passive boosts to DPS and Criticals and speed that the higher (err or lower) portions of the tree will give you.FWIW - Int will boost your poison damage - Wis will boost your overall resists - Str will boost your attack rating - Agi will boost your avoidance - Sta will boost your HP. But once you have 4 points in any of those first skills - the next point you spend in the line gets you something more. Those are the skills you should be looking at to determine your point spending.</div>
