<div></div>For all of the people who have asked if there is an acheivement calculator and then been told that there isnt a need for one, I have disagreed with that assessment the whole time. And not to be the one who just sits around and does nothing about it, I did something. And since I play a rogue, I have now, the first version of my very own Achievement Calculator.Enjoy, all you calculating Assassins!<strike> (And someone can share this with the rangers if they like, but I ain't gonna cause I despise rangers just on principle alone). </strike>Turns out the rangers on the boards arent as bad as the ones in game. =)I will have my own messageboards up for purposes of the achievement calculator soon, but for now, feel free to respond with feedback in this thread. Here is the link:<a href="http://keithratliff.com/eq2/skilltree.htm" target="_blank">http://keithratliff.com/eq2/skilltree.htm</a><div></div><p>Message Edited by Dracorat on <span class=date_text>07-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:17 AM</span>

Oh and before someone mentions it...Internet Explorer is a crappy browser that lacks PNG support. If you use IE, you see gray boxes around the icons. My suggestion: Use a real browser.Otherwise, the tool should function for you.<div></div>

very nice.. you beat me too it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />the only real thing i've done differently is have a running total of what your current build out gives you on the side in terms of buffs, modifiers stats and the like.very nice.<div></div>

Skill review added in.Features still to be implemented:- Better logic to zero-out skills and their children.- Ability to recall saved templates (you can currently save them OK, but when you go back, it comes up a blank tree)- Other classes<div></div>

Update: You can save your setups now - it works! And you shouldn't be able to break the tree anymore. I implemented the proper logic to fix the tree whenever something would occur to break it.<div></div>

As an example of saving setups, here is the traditional STR/INT build that people post, without either end-tier chosen:<a href="http://keithratliff.com/eq2/skilltree.htm?class=predator&skills=14000440004400048000800000" target=_blank>http://keithratliff.com/eq2/skilltree.htm?class=predator&skills=14000440004400048000800000</a><div></div>

Eventually yes, but each set is a lot of work.<div></div>

so this is so we can see what aa we might want to put where instead of doing it in game and it costing money?

<div><blockquote><hr>Baldev wrote:<div></div>so this is so we can see what aa we might want to put where instead of doing it in game and it costing money?<hr></blockquote>Exactly!And I hope to eventually implement all of the classes, not just this one. Each, however, takes a significant amount of work.</div>

Is there anywhere I can find info on what the new APs are going to be for EoF?<div></div>

Well untill the NDA gets lifted no details can be given out.  However its known there are going to be another 50 points.  As far as the aa themselves go most people arent satisfied so even if the current setup were released there would most likely be changes before we seen them on live.

Ah, good to know, thanks. I'll wait for it.Btw, if people want to see me do a calculator for other classes, I'll need people to volunteer who can splice screenshots. I can send details then. Volunteers should send me an email message to:eq2 - keithratliff.comJust place the "@" symbol in the appropriate spot.<div></div>

Ever consider turning this into an actuall app? Something people could download, or... far be it for me to limit imagination, add as a mod <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> after all, XML is a very viable language when it comes to this type of stuff <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />If your interested I could give you a hand with this, just send me a PM.<div></div>

IE7 had vulnerabilities the day it was released, and IE6 is no better. Its always had problems.<div></div>

The JS files do their job nicely. I have no issue with people who choose to download and save the app to their computer to use offline, I just have issue with people posting it on their own Web sites.(I am a C# programmer and Database Admin [including managing XML Data Sources] as my career)</div>

Ah, I'm security (Internet & Network Security Manager), my background however is in programming. But if you ever decide to port it into the game let me know, I can help you out for my limited knowledge with XML(Wasn't my strongest language... I mean I actually did better with Hex and Binary then I did XML <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)<div></div>
