So I found a Rough Opal, what Adept III should I make?

Go with what you want in the end, but I'd go with a skill you're going to use a little more often if you can't adept 3 everything.  Murderous Blade (35) comes to mind, 10 sec recast, how many times will you use that to CB's once every 3 minutes?

Are you certain? I am an Alchemist and I use loam to make fighter essences. I think jewels are still used to make scout Adepts, hence my original question ( on which I would still like some more feedback :smileyhappy: ).

This goes for you too, Jooneau. Ornery. Thank him for what? His aggressive response regarding my genuine question? He may be a pleasant person and perhaps my question rubbed him the wrong way. Perhaps he felt I had the gall to dare to question his knowledge. That is untrue. I simply assumed each class would have its own resource and since fighters use loam, I thought scouts would use jewels. It was an innocent question. <DIV>Someone told me Vanadium would work (were they wrong?)  for Scout T6 adept3's before LU24 so I gathered up a bunch of em and tried like mad to get em made before the 14th. Problem was no one wanted to do any work till AFTER the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] LU. Then Vanadium was worthless and I spent 6 hours in stinking SS fighting off plat farmers to find the Alkali loams which I understand are for both fighters and scouts and rare as all hell. Didnt find a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] one but lo and behold I did find about 4 more Vanadiums and a dozen Lambent stones, yay me. Did manage to trade a Vanadium for a pearl which I then traded for a loam and bought another loam off someone for 50g (what a deal seeing as how they are going for 1 plat+ on broker) Was trying to get Honed Reflexes to AD3 but my Jeweler friend had the same bug, hope they fix it soon. Oh yeah, to the OP, get Honed Reflexes AD3 because it doesnt get upgraded. Dont waste your money or time in upgrading something that will get an upgrade in 5-8 levels anyway. AD1 will do just fine till you get above 55 and start getting into the ones that wont upgrade. You're gonna be top tier DPS with or without AD3's at the lower levels so theres no sense in dropping all that coin. Save it  for use in the higher levels (you'll need it with all the price gouging on the broker, saw a level 53 or 54 master that gets upgraded in the 60's this morning for 42 plat) unless you're a twinked alt and your main has coin to burn.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haephestus /64 Assassin /Guk</DIV>

On PvP servers, fighters and scouts make up about 70% of the population, and we are fighting over the same rares.   And to top that off, the cinder ore collection quest doesnt give you the chance at a loam.<div></div>
