How exactly do claws make you feel like an assassin? I can kinda understand the hood, although that should also have a robe to go with it, but w/e, but the 'kata's' are not specifically assassin-ish.

The claws need to be part of the gloves so you can have your hands free. Like in the Last Samurai, the ninja that attacked the samurai camp wore claws, but they were part of the glove so they could use the swords. Katanas are not used by assassins generally, those are more samurai type assassins favor the shorter wakazashi's generally or any other kind of "half blade" as they are called and frankly using a bow does not make me feel like an assassin, throwing stars now your talking.

Ninja != Assassin. Poisoned arrow/dagger in the night = Assassin. Not saying *NO* assassin's would use them, but I don't see how that makes you feel more like an assassin.

allso whom ever said katana's are not assassin like here is how you'r wrong

Samurai had an Assassin class however it's not the cloack and dagger style we come to loved. A Katana wielding Sin = 1 Hit Critical K.O. While I view katar wielding sin's to beable to slice 4-8 time's a second all hitting critical point's of the human annatermie.

Here is a katana useing sin....

Eh? Last i knew, assassins where related to the Followers of Hasan, the hashshishin, who lived in the middle-east. They didn't use katanas.

I deplore the way that ninja's are forever being mixed with assassins. Ninja's where, generally, spies. Not assassins.

And the hashshishin used daggers, none of those sissy swords or punchy things :smileytongue:

Humans have been killing each other (and hiring others to do it for them) for longer than we can accurately record. Trying to pick one "style" of assassin (i.e. ninja) and saying that they are the only type of true assassin is futile.I am of the opinion that assassins will use whatever tool needed to get the job done. Assassins are simply those who kill for money or (and more commonly) a political purpose. Modern day assassins are likely to use a pistol with a silencer, but that wouldn't stop one from throwing their mark out the window of a 5-story building either. Dead = dead.

An assassin, reguardless of what time/era or culture would look like one of the following:

1. Covert: The assassin would look like everyone else, beeing seen but blending in so no one suspected them. This is where disguises come into play. IThis is where you would use our high elf illusion to sneek into Qeynos to assassinate some stuck up goody two shoes.

2. Clandestine: Not being seen, ie camoflage, invisible. This could include the ninja look wearing dark clothing so they cant be seen at night or any other means that makes them dissapear. This is why we should wear dark armour, not the T7 red football jersey. This also gives weight to having a dark face cover/shroud because the first thing you see when someone is trying to hide is thier light coloured face, unless your a dark elf in which case you see their shiny white teeth!

So I guess its what ever you want it to be.
