<div>i recently rolled an assassin on a pvp server, as of now hes only lvl 17 so yes i know theres lots more skills and such to come.</div><div> </div><div>my question to the rest of you out there is this, our attacks seem to be mainly postional, and our highdamage attacks requires stealth active as well.</div><div> </div><div>when i encounter a reg mob i will use cheap shot, move behind the mob, trigger the attack that puts me into stealth, and then use one of the two sneak attacks, whichever one has its timer up.</div><div> </div><div>however, in pvp cheapshots duration is lowered from 6 sec to 2 sec, and while this gives me time to get behind and trigger the attack that puts me into stealth, theres certainly no time to activate further skills.</div><div> </div><div>any of you have any advice how to get around this, or any advice on how to take advantage of our positional/stealth attacks on pvp ?</div><div> </div><div>besides being in a group of course.</div><div> </div><div>so far ive been taking the "sniper" approach, open up with hidden shot, then the double shot.</div><div>and pretty much splitting my game time according to light conditions into reg mobs during daytime, and hunting pvp during the night.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

Pulling off that move in pvp either requires: A. Super fast and accurate fingers....or B. Macros.Assassin macros are all over the forums, so I won't get into em....Another trick to help pulling those positional attacks is hate reducers (you'll have two of them). Cheap shot...hate reduce (which clears you being a target of the enemy pc)....stealth....stealth attack. Clearing yourself from their target could buy that extra second or two you need to pull off the attack.Good luck <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span><div></div>

<div>Get a good bow. Use tier appropriate arrows. Open up with ranged attacks. Cheapshot + incombat stealth + non positional stealth attack = less than 2 seconds and no need to move. </div><div> </div><div>Also, you dont really become an assassin until 25ish when you have your 5 minute attack and assassin's mark. I'd work on leveling until you get there.</div>

<div></div><p>well like i mentioned ive been using the sniper approch till now, had an alt craft him an imbued bone longbow, 12 slot quiver, and upgraded open shot and hidden shot to adept 3, gives quite a punch even without proccing.</p><p>i had completely forgotten about the macro option, think i'll give that a whirl.</p><p>thanks a lot :smileyhappy:</p>

I would definitely recommend opening with your high damaged stealthed attack, other than ranged CAs. Not only does this eliminate the need to land a stun/stealth/stealth attack from 3 times -> 2 times, but it also saves those ranged abilities for when they start running away.I normally open with ranged CAs when me and a few buddies are thinning out a full group. Sometimes you need to kill -> retreat -> stealth -> reform -> prepare to attack again, so hanging out in the back spamming ranged attacks would be quite effeicient in a hit-and-run scenerio.....other than that....whether I'm in a pvp raid situation, or have a solo encounter out in the field.....the Stealth -> Assassin's Blade ability is the first thing I'm going for <span>:smileyhappy:</span><div></div>
