Assassin's Mark questions

I just turned lvl 20 and picked up assassin's mark. Holy [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] is it powerful. I was just wondering though, if the effect procs on another players hit, is the added damage considered his damage or my damage? In other words if another player hits the mob and it procs my assassin's mark proc does the damage show up in orange or grey over the mobs head.Also I'm curious in a full group on average about how often will this skill proc? Once every few seconds or what?<div></div>

<div></div><p>Anybody hitting the mob can proc the spell...</p><p>The damage done is considered your damage reguardless of who procs the spell...</p><p>In a group, depending on how many Melee classes there are, this procs pretty quick (usually withing just a few seconds)...   In Raids, this will proc almost instantly...</p><p> </p><p>Gwern - 69 Assassin  /  Nilla - 66 Alchemist</p>

Keep in mind also that the spell will only hit 5 times.  It says duration of 36 seconds for the Marked buff, but it only hits for 5 times.  Meaning if youre fighting a mob with high avoidance, it might take you a while to hit it 5 times, but on normal mobs, all the hits come within like 2 seconds.<div></div>

<div>Yes but everyone hiting the mob will trigger the mark procs too......its our best skill in mobs where we gota dodge ae since the MT/ST and brigs (and some suicidal mele) will usually trigger it for yah if you arent on mob</div>
