T7 Weapons

<div>Just wondering what all you other Assassins have found for a nice T7 weapon to use.</div>

I've been using Fang of Koturah (dropped) and Grizzfazzle's Dirk (quested) since 65<div></div>

If you're still 57, your best bet is to try and get a t6 fabled like strap of flaying or silverthorn. These weapons mentioned have a high required lvl<div></div>

Grizzfazzle's stuff comes from the quest (Grizzfazzle's errands I think) starting in Bonemire, at the crash site. Koturah is a 68 named drake in Sanctum, you get there by taking a straight (from memory, could be wrong) when you're at the intersection with the trial pit on your right.<div></div>

I'm getting along quite well with my Grizzfazzle's Dirk and my Foreman's Shank from T6, as a 67 Assassin (Hopefully 68 after tonight).</div><div> </div><div>The problem with the weapon from Sepulcher is three-fold:</div><div>1) Its DR isn't particularly good, maybe a point or two higher than the Foreman's Shank, but with less stats... thereby (in whatever small amount) reducing autoattack damage that, in my mind, does not make the difference of a 1-2 point DR rating.</div><div>2) The proc is almost worthless... a 2% chance to proc with the mods in place for its 1.2 delay AND dual-wielding? You'll be lucky to see it go off once every 4 minutes, and even then, a whole 400 damage ward is only worth 1 hit soloing... and even less in groups... and almost totally negligible in raids.</div><div>3) It doesn't have a damage proc. Neither does my Foreman's Shank, but at least my Shank procs Fear when I'm soloing. That Fear allows me to use my ranged back-attacks AND prevents a mob from hitting me for several seconds; several seconds of no hits is far better than dodging a single hit (two if you're lucky) from the Ward. <div></div><p></p><hr><font color="#ffff00">Beyond that, the weapon from Sepulcher is useless</font><hr><p>For someone that was not lucky enough to get something similiar to the Shank during T6,  the weapon from Sepulcher is a decent weapon....   I know we killed the Foreman numerous times, but never once had the Shank drop...   Same thing went for the Earthen Band from courts, we killed that frog a ton of times but in the end we only got 2 rings...  Just because you were fortunate enough to get a decent wepon out of T6 does not mean that everyone did, so there is no need to tell someone that got this or a similar weapon as a upgrade that it's a pice of junk...  I'm sure there are plenty of people here that could say that your Foreman's Shank is trash also....</p><p>The idea here is to let people know what weapons are dropping and where...  Even though it may not be a upgrade for you, it might be an upgrade for someone else....</p><p> </p><p>Gwern - 68 Assassin  /  Nilla - 66 Alchemist</p>

Absolution has an awesome red particle effect, it looks like red vapor surrounding the weapon.<div></div>
