<div>What are the key differences? I'm thinking the Assassin is more of an frontend damage dealer, with quick powerful starter attacks, and the Brigand is more of a stun type rogue? I really don't have a clue. My wife and I are probably going to be playing both (1 of each) on the PvP server, and we're trying to decide who plays what lol. </div><div> </div><div>Any help is appreciated. And if you happen to have a link to CA lists for either/both that actually have descriptions of each ability, that would be wonderful. I can find lists, but I have to do seperate searches for each individual ability. Very time consuming. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
A brief comparison of stuns with regard to soloing and small-group play from an Assassin's perspective.Under some situations, some may say many, a Brigand has the abilities to keep a mob stunned for much a battle. This may be only a single mob, however, but it can make a difference until you are ready to deal with that mob (I'm no expert in Brigands but I admire the few times I've watched one seemingly perma-stun a named mob).Assassins on the other hand only have the low-level Cheap Shot stun. That means we need to either deal our damage from range or be able to out damage our foes toe-to-toe. Usually this means that we lead off with whatever combination of ranged attacks will be most effective (get a couple of bow auto-attacks in there for procs), this is followed up by stacking DoTs and debuffs early on to supplement our larger hits once the DoTs have started ticking away. A large component of your toe-to-toe damage will come from melee auto-attack.<div></div>

They are the ones who wreck mobs' defenses so that the other rogue classes get their pretty parsing numbers. Not much glory, but a whole lot of effect.
