I asked around last night to a few folks on my server, and I looked around, but couldn't really find an answer to a question I have...I really like the scout classes. I like stunning and spinning around mobs doing very good damage, what I dislike is getting hit and being down to 20 percent before ya know it. If you were to make a class, that was scout based, but had the best mitgation / avoidance, what would you pick? The one person I talked to last night said "Assassin", but I wanted to double check with you folks.Could you give me some advice?Thank you,Tog.<div></div>

we all where the same armor so our mitigation is essentially the same. that said i'd say your best tanking rogue class is the brigand simply because they have a taunt. it's not much of an advantage over the others but it's something.<div></div>

<div></div>We also have an AE taunt AA if you want to be a chain tank <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div>Brigs get a MIT self buff, so their mitigation is usually above that of other scouts, I'm sitting at 2650 mit, but that's almost all t6 fabled gear, soon to be replaced =

<div></div>I can get about 65% avoid with 2400miti, but i would say a brig just cuz they can taunt and get almost 3K miti with 50% avoid

This will be a solo character, so I'm not too worried about taunt. In the "taking hits" world, which is better, mitigation or avoidance? I thought avoidance because it's total mitigation of damage.<div></div>

<div></div>If we're talking strictly solo, mitigation is better IMO, simply because avoidance doesn't avoid everything, but mitigation <em>will</em> mitigate everything, but HP owns all :smileyhappy:

Or only melee?</span></div>

<div></div>I think it's just physical damage, but you'd have to ask a brig :smileytongue:

Yeah, our defensive stance gives us Defense, Parry, and physical Mitigation. You guys get Agility instead, right?<span></span><div></div>
Agility, parry, and defense for us.<div></div>

<div></div><p>If it's solo play your interested in then Brigands get a fair few stuns which allows for position attacks and also mitigates a fair amount of damage. Brigands also have Ruse which I always save for emergencies which means I can finish a fight off quickly, or put a dent in an add.</p>
