Stacking is color based, poisons appear to be properly sorted along color lines. I was able to stack a blue and a red the last time I tried. Those are the only player-made t7 poisons I had on-hand (I have not seen any merchants that sell level 60+ vendor poisons).

Colour-based stacking? Sounds almost too good to be true. I do hope they'll do that, because atm I've got like 2 chests of same-looking T6 red poison vials who do and don't stack .But I still don't get it right. What's this with one charge? Do they proc longer? More often? Do I have to actually use them ON the mob or can I poison my weapons like I'm used to? Sorry if I missed anything, but different posts say different things.Well, it's only 2 days to actually find out myself, really. But an answer would be nice anyway.GreetinsArDAIn.

Nachricht bearbeitet von Ardain3 am 02-21-200602:10 AM

A vial of poison has exactly one use, call it a charge if you like but I feel that just confuses things. A single use of a hemotoxin poison vial gives 100 procs, regardless of being common or rare crafted. Now other poisons are likely to have different numbers of procs, I don't have info for any others at this time -- I'm sure we'll find out next week as we see alchemists race to 70.

When I first posted the information, the T7 poisons were bugged.. they has a single use (no proc).... Currently they have a 25% chance to proc with 100 procs per vial (for damage poisons)....

Yes, the poisons are color coded by type now.... Damage, Debuff and Effect each have thier own color.... This will make it a little easier when trying to find the proper poisons in your inventory.... You still will not be able to tell the difference between like poisons ( IE DD damage poisons and DOT damage poisons) without examining them.... This will make it easier to tell which poisons you can have on at the same time... you can have 1 of each color active....

As with the original post, the pictures were taken at a time where they were later updated... I have not had a chance to log into Beta, so I can't say what the stats are now... There was very little difference between common and rare when it came to poisons and potions... This problem was suposed to have been addressed already and you should see a larger seperation between the effects.... Also, last time I checked, poisons were not craftable until the Alchemist hit level 66... I hope they correct this and make the common poisons craftable earlier and the rares starting at level 66...

To be honest, I'm not sure T7 poisons are much of an upgrade to T6 poisons, the damages seem to be similiar... I'll have to wait till I can compare them when I have my normal buffs/stats...

I do not know the reason for the changes in the poisons, but I for 1 will be really happy to not have to carry 5+ different kinds of debuff poisons to raids with me (and I usually always had 2 vials of each).... Now I only have to carry 3 different kinds of debuffs (a total of 6 stacks of poisons as compared to 10 poisons before).... I actually like this change....

Gwern - 60 Assassin - Kithicor
